The Ironboard Lining/ cover requires replacement. Knife block had a ‘huge’ knife that didn’t fit with blade exposed. It’s probably too big for any requirements in the Kitchen- could do without. Dryer Lint Filter was broken which causes a lot of mess if used. Probably could use a new one.

We stayed for 2 nights and found the Manager to be friendly with great directions and advice on sightseeing on the island, beach locations upcoming events and restaurant dining tips. The Pub courtesy bus dropped us off to the apartment one night which was handy after a few drinks. Pandanus was just a short stroll back along the beach scenic route to pick up the car next day. We didn’t have a 4WD but there was road access and I recommend bringing a car to really make the most of your time on the island. We saw amazing sunrise/sunsets, whales, dolphins, a turtle, manta rays, kangaroos and curlews. The property had a Pool and Tennis court on the premises. The on-site restaurant is under renovation. The apartment itself was not new but definitely beach vibes cute with a lot of doors and access options. The complex was peaceful and the rooms were comfortable with fitting artwork and decor. Towels had a Pandanus embroidered logo on them- a nice additional touch. Kitchen/Dining/Lounge upstairs was well equipped with a fantastic view of the ocean off the verandah perfect for whale watching.

Apartment was fabulous though internet/wifi had very intermittent reception.

Views were absolutely spectacular! Couldn't have asked for better. Easy check in/out, good and reliable communication from reception staff. Beds were comfy, great lounge area and bathroom. Close proximity to walking trails and beaches.

Unit was run down, kitchen sink tap had extremely strong water pressure. There were units with lovely beach view, our 3 bedroom unit was disappointing for price we paid.

room 26 uncomfortable sofa - very difficult to sit down and get up as too low. very dirty sofa. no aircon or fan in living area - this made the 32 degree day with 80% hungry unbearable.

No air conditioning. Uncomfortable lounge chairs. So hot ceiling fans were so slow. Outdoor area not clean, rubbish and leaves and dirt. Broken glass in pool area cut my foot.

We absolutely loved the beach & ocean view apartment and it was definitely worth spending a bit more to have that view to wake up to. The layout was fantastic with two separated rooms upstairs, and a big kitchen and even separate toilet downstairs. But it's that terrace with the endless ocean view that will leave you mesmerized. Staff were super friendly! You're not right next to the beach, a 10min walk, but it's worth being up high to experience that view. The only difficulty you will have is deciding who will have the room with the view!

There are no baby gate facilities even though they ask about age of children and accept 2 year old as ok. We had to use the mattress as a baby gate, and when supplied a ‘baby gate’ it was a flimsy rotten wood one that would potentially be lethal. We were charged 100 dollars for a broken safety wire that snapped at a duct tape join. I.e. not safe. We also were charged (as part of the 100) for cleaning that was outside of what the terms and cs specify. This is rated as a resort, and basic cleaning cannot be charged for.

There is a restaurant on the resort we didn't think about it, so was loud music until 10pm every day. The kitchen only had basic things and no pantry item (salt pepper....)

Though our apartment had been just renovated, most of the flyscreens had big hole in them, the main bedroom had to be covered with towel to keep mossies and flies out. Found roaches in the downstairs room, i am fine with roaches but wife and baby think its unacceptable. Carpet upstairs had hair and bracelet beads. Found used razor blade next to the bible in one of the bedroom bedside drawers and it was pretty scary for wife.

Great location, nice and quite spot. Very friendly staff.
