Bed was horrible to sleep on and is my only complaint. We had 3 nights booked. I requested to be moved on the 2nd night,but was too late to have us move as they were already at 100% capacity but was fine for the 3rd night. We were given a bottle of wine for the inconvenience. We didn't stay the 3rd night, as the 2nd night was too much for our backs and opted to leave early that morning. We requested a refund for the 3rd night and they gracefully accepted. I thought they handled the manner professionally unlike many hotel managers do.

Pool and Gardens well maintained. Bedroom overlooking pool was great and surprisingly with sound proof windows. Cnr bath was big enough,just ashame it wasn't a spa bath.

Villa had mould in bathrooms, needs a freshen up a bit dated in décor. Kitchen cupboards sticky and not closing properly. Would have liked to see a free shuttle service between resort, airport and around Port Douglas as part of the stay.

Our room was not very clean. Very dusty over most surfaces. There was black hair on the bedding and one of our towels had dried blood on it.

Technology, upgrades and some repairs would make a huge difference.

Spacious location, two bathrooms and three toilets. If your looking for a spacious and comfortable location with a home like feel this is the place.

There’s no bar. The pool looked smaller than the pictures, the grass was brown and needed manicuring around the pool. The Matt at our door was saturated in mud so we walked mud into the room. The couch was tiny, could barely fit one person on it. Very uncomfortable. There were ants in the bathroom.

The furniture in the family unit was falling to pieces. The extractor fans did not work, the cushions had feathers falling out of them. The toaster did not work. The leather seats were not good enough for holiday travellers. The area around the stove was dirty. Not enough face cloths.

The pool was lovely. Our apartments were a great size and the beds were comfy.

The rooms need an update, the bathroom is very tired. Fittings are rusting. 2 towels provided for 2 adults for 5 nights with no housekeeping is not ideal . No space in the room for luggage. TV is smaller than my computer screen.

Needed faulty lights fixed on arrival. General cleanliness and maintenance of the Villa. Oven dirty and dials unreadable. Rangehood needed attention. Kitchen doors need attention.

The resort wasn't advertised to be a 'self service'; but this was used as a reason for no cleaning during your stay. Therefore it was not a comfortable stay; limited towels available even though there were pool facilities, air conditioner was broken, mould on the ceiling after one night and the coffee machine leaked. We had to move to a similar but s bit better room in the middle of our stay. Wouldn't recommended for a longer stay than a couple of nights.

Cleaners can't clean. Room was tiny for the $270 per night. Nowhere near value for money. 17 nights, cleaned twice yet all they did was change the bed. Bathroom wasnt cleaned, toilet wasn't cleaned. Complained after 2nd "clean" and still only half done. Pathetic. Outside room was messy and wasn't raked ir looked after the entire stay.

Our room was probably one of the worst I’ve stayed in mainly because there was no ventilation in the bathroom. No sun came into the room which was dark and smelt gross.

Barbecue lighting needs to be improved. We had trouble seeing while cooking. We also found the beds terrible, The Mattresses need to be updated , as well as the pillows.

We loved the pool, a few more sun beds would of been good . location was good, the gardens were lovely, Staff were great as well. Barbecues were great clean and great for cooking. the beach was within walking distance.

Felt it was very tired. Shutter levers a lot of them broken and due to not being able to close a lot of wind whistling noise at night. Would be great to have a BBQ at the apartment.

For $300 a night my partner and I certainly expected something nicer. The bathroom roof looked like it was halfway through being renovated, the dishwasher was filled with water and they didn’t give us any dish washing tablets for it, the DVD player was broken and the wifi was incredibly slow when we did manage to get it working. The blinds were broken in the living room, and there’s no designated parking spots so once you snag one near your apartment you don’t want to move your car as it’ll likely be taken by the time you get back.

The beds were surprisingly comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and sweet.

Unfortunately despite being super clean there is definitely some maintenance issues. one of the sitcoms was unusable due to how loud it was, every lamp in the town house had exposed wires, the exhaust fan in the main bathroom was half hanging out. for $500 a night you’d expect to not have to un plug the lamps for the safety of your children.

We had not expected to have to carry our luggage upstairs. The bath was spacious with a shower over the bath. It had a few steps to get in and rail to hold. This was difficult for people in their 80,s. We would prefer walk-in shower with no steps.

Room and grounds were clean, attractive and fitted our needs for a one night stay. Beds were comfortable.

Bed and Dryer in the 1BR apartment were very old and need replacing. No operating lights in the BBQ or Tennis Courts, very difficult to socialise and cook dinner after 5pm (in winter) under the light from a mobile phone !

there were a lot of maintenance issues with the Villa which suggested that properties weren’t being checked thoroughly and regularly. When we raised issues they were fixed, but there were too many.
