It is a hostel at the end of the day. I think the guy below me kept shaking the bed to wake me up during the night because I was snoring too loud

I would have liked a extra mattress cover. But I didn't ask for one either. A few more power plugs in the room would be helpful.

I booked an hour before I came in and that was okay. Everything you kneed for a night is there. It all looked clean and the lady at the desk was very friendly.

Caution: Beware of bugs! My stay took a turn for the worse when I was awakened at 5:30 a.m. by bug bites from ankle to thigh. Despite initially tolerable sleep, the situation became unbearable. Fearful, I checked out immediately. Returning at 10 a.m. to discuss the issue, Mary's response was disheartening. She only repeated, "I'll check," offering no concern or apology. Despite assurances to inform me, a week passed with no updates. A regrettable experience with both the accommodation and customer service; wouldn't recommend.

Single room was way too small the luggage would barely fit on the floor!!! Also, the bathroom was split into 3 separate rooms for showers, toilets and a whole separate room for sinks. It is very unconvenient. Also, quite pricy for what you get.

I am not use to not being able to make coffee in the room. The beds were very hard so I didn’t sleep well and woke up with a backache.

It has lots of character the brewery is a great touch. The price was very reasonable and close to the pub for meals and drinks.

Looked like and treated like and felt like a shool hostel/bordinghouse (I sent 5 years in boarding school) and too expensive for what you got. We got a lot more staying elsewhere for less. And I know it is close to the 12 Apostels, but that is not even worthy of the drive, to be honest. There was no TV in the room. The showers and bathroom is in the open hallway. You could hear the guy next yo you on the toilet because there is only a small dry wall separating you, and it is open at the top and bottom so you can hear and smell the whole adventure.... Just like boardinghouse times. Just wanted to let the new customers know this is not a guesthouse more like a backpackers...

Now it has the brewery & fully licensed until 8 pm every night you need to purchase all your beer & wine in house which makes it a very costly place to stay if your going to have a beer or two. So I decided to drink Tea.

Facility's were lacking. No aircon, shower took forever to get hot water through and hardlly any flow or pressure, also exhaust fan was full of fluff and the bed was uncomfortable.

There is no privacy. The bathrooms and showers are in the middle of the corredor. The shower didn’t work. No water pressure

I did not like that there were not gender specific shower areas and that you had to walk though the shower areas to get to different bedrooms. Compared to other hostels, the guesthouse was a bit pricy but this is probably reflected by the location.

The Guesthouse was extremely well located to visit the 12 Apostles and other attractions of the Great Ocean Road. There were nice coastal walks on the property's doorstep. The kitchen facilities were very good.

One of our guests experienced multiple unpleasant experiences with one of the staff, we found them to be rude and snappy unprovoked. Definitely made us think against coming back.

Great facilities, everything was clean and tidy. Lobby was very welcoming with comfy couches and board games.

Customer service was really poor since the person at the reception was not friendly upon my arrival. I didn’t feel welcomed at all. The reason was probably because I was the last guest to arrive, but this was informed and confirmed with the property much in advance. Hence no reason to be rude to me.

Be aware of the "open concept" toilets and showers as the toilet stalls and shower stalls open directly onto the hallway where the rooms are located. i've never seen anything like it. There is no privacy at all. As I walked down the hall to and from my room, there were people sitting on the toilets just a few feet away with feet clearly visible under the stall doors. Yuck. I did read a sign saying they have plans to remodel, but COVID put a stop to that, so no change has yet been made. There is one fully enclosed bathroom with shower and sink at the end of the hall, otherwise all toilets and showers are open to all passersby in the hall. A strange set up.

Very clean. I stayed in a small, but cute, clean, and comfortable twin room, and found the kitchen well appointed and spacious and as well as the common living areas. The Guest House is walking distance to the beach and many shops and cafes. Good wifi in my room as well as downstairs and at the outside tables. I'd be happy to stay here again once they change the bathroom situation.
