I honestly cannot fault this place. One of the best stays I have experienced.

The new renovations and tall ceilings create a larger feeling than it is. The convenience of room service and a bws downstairs. The quality of the meals.

The Hotel is older with a lot of character. At the end of a long day and with a few heavy cases, we had to carry them up stairs, as there's no lift access. But this wasn't a huge problem.

Friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable sized rooms. Nice renovations. The bathrooms were huge and modern. The toiletries provided were very nice too. There was a bistro and Bar in the building. So we didn't need to have to leave our accommodation. Parking on site was available.

A very comfortable room for an overnight stay. This old pub has been given a very stylish face-lift. The traffic outside is busy but double glazed windows keeps the noise level reduced++. Good screening allowed for a dark room for sleeping. The room's decor was very nice, and the bed comfortable. A free drink at the bar downstairs was a lovely add on. The pub's restaurant served us delicious food at reasonable prices. We had offstreet parking too in the guest's carpark We enjoyed our stay very much

The widows did not open or able to see out of. The staff booked us in very quickly.

Finding reception from the Carpark was confusing. Once inside however the staff were great with the check in process.

The hotel is on a very main road so the traffic is quite noisy. However the hotel is well-placed if leaving for the airport early as it is a 35 minute journey to the airport. There is good parking. The rooms are not large but they are very clean and have good facilities. The restaurant serves very good value food and the staff are all very pleasant. This is a stopover hotel only but in terms of value for money it cannot be faulted

Just keep in mind it is very close to traffic and trains, so there is some background noise. It didn't worry us at all

I loved the "boutique style" hotel, lovely art deco style hotel Lovely and quiet Complimentary drink on arrival. It was the perfect stop over for us on our way back home from being in the city

Downstairs music was a little loud in the evenings, but this was expected and the room had ear plugs supplied which worked well.

We had a smaller room this stay. Even the larger rooms are small but for 2 nights for 2 people, room 5 is very small. Room 9 a better size.

The team have got every ounce of space out of a small room and being on the train line without an open window. Could be pokey but we were there only one night so not a big issue.

Location and ensuite. Free parking and quality of food and beverage. Comfy bed

Room quite warm so aircon had to run constantly. Window has frosted glass so you can’t see out and window doesn’t open so no fresh air.

Clean, newly renovated room. Very comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Close to train. Free parking.
