Didn't partake of the hotel breakfast or eat in the restaurant so can't comment on those. I really love the old style hotel with lovely renovated rooms, but we've stayed there twice now and had trouble sleeping each time. First stay, our room faced onto the Princes Hwy and therefore was noisy all through the night, interrupting sleep. This second stay we requested a quiet room, which we were given. However, it overlooked the train line where there were track works all weekend, including through the night, directly below our window! This was not the hotel's fault of course, but we kind of feel that we just can't take a trick with this place! Also, this time our room was very small and starting to look tired. Attention to cleaning detail seems to have slipped. Overall it is good value for Sydney though, and close to where our son lives, so it works for us.

The traffic was incessant on a Saturday night. We were provided with earplugs but this did not block out the noise completely. The windows were double glazed so the owners have done all that is possible to provide a quiet room. By the way, one of us was not perturbed by the traffic noise.

The room was much better than expected. It was a decent size and the bathroom was clean and modern. The staff are lovely and very helpful.

Parking was promised but the parking spaces were all taken by those in the bar until late in the evening. At least 1 chair in the room would have been good.

A small but very convenient motel for an overnight stop. The price was good for suburban Sydney. The ensuite bathroom was excellent and bigger than others we have stayed in, in other motels. The old hotel had been renovated and the motel room was modern in decor and well presented. The bar fridge was adequate and the room well organised. There were no chairs - so we went down to the bar for our free driink. We could have had discouned bistro meals. It was surprisingly quiet give its location next to Pacifc Hwy and the railway line.

Loud music.. late into the night.. Lots of stairs to our room & my wife & i have trouble walking i have recently come out of a moon boot & my wife double hip replacement. not sure i saw anything about disability access?

The loud music on Tuesday night until Midnight in the pub below us was annoying. It was Melbourne Cup day but the pub was empty. I was worried about the noise of the busy highway, but it was the music that kept us awake.

This is fantastic find. Great value for money, spotless and super comfortable. We loved it but we really needed to sleep.

The noise from the traffic was extremely loud, but not unexpected given that the hotel was right on the main road with traffic going past all night. I booked knowing this would be the case, but it was still louder than I expected.

The staff were amazing and the room was very comfortable, if not a bit on the small side. The bathroom was large and well appointed with everything that I needed for my stay. I also received a drink voucher on arrival to use in the bar.

I’d been working and driving all over Sydney all day, got back at 7:30pm, settled back in, went downstairs to have dinner and they had closed the kitchen already as they had run out of food. pity. but I am sure they hadn’t intended to. just a busy day and my loss. seems so fun lively and I wanted to be in on it, but a woman sitting alone, without food, just drinking seemed a sad option! haha

Needed a few hooks and coat hangers in the room. There was nowhere to hang clothes.

I was staying there for work and the location was good for my requirements. It is on the highway, but surprisingly wasn't too noisy. Park was easy and free. Bistro meals were good.

Room very small and possibly overpriced for what you get. Nowhere to hang a suit jacket or shirt.

Location was excellent for my purpose and easily accessible by train. Staff excellent. Room spotlessly clean. Food well priced and delicious. Even though the hotel is situated on a main road it was very quiet at night. Space in bathroom excellent and recently renovated.
