AustraliaNo ability to open windows for fresh air was challenging, however there was an a/c, albeit noisy. Note noise from downstairs bar can be heard in rooms, and there is some traffic noise as the hotel is located on a busy street.
The beautiful old hotel has been lovingly restored, with tasteful renovations whilst maintaining the original charm. The restaurant downstairs was very convenient as there aren't many good local options. The nearby train station was also very handy as was the location to get back to the highway.

The room has obviously been recently renovated and while small, it was very cosy and comfortable and offered everything I needed for my short stay. The bathroom was spacious and very clean. The staff were super efficient and the meals were delicious.

Australialocation but I’m not a city person so took a bit to get used to. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor but this is due to the shower head being too big and putting out way to much water then the shower drain can cope with so just had to turn on half way to avoid that happening again.

AustraliaNot a criticism, because I knew it was on a busy road when I booked, and ear-plugs are provided, but there is a little bit of traffic noise and also a bit of a hum from one of the outside air-con fan units. You get a bit of noise from the pub downstairs but we were there on a Saturday night and it was not rowdy at all.
Very well located if you need to stay in Pymble - just meters from the train station and free parking on site. Lovely room, very comfortable, friendly helpful staff and quick check-in and -out.
