Dated,not particularly clean in shower tiles and under vanity. Basic with limited decor. Room adjacent had music blaring until 12am which woke me up but there was no after hours number to call for staff to address the issue.

Clean , very spacious room and kitchen with a full fridge , toaster and kettle and coffee facilities Large bathroom with a good size shower . Tv and cooling and electric blankets worked . Very nice property you stay at for a few days. Close to cinemas and restaurants, easy walking distance.

The air conditioner was too small for such a large room, which meant an incredibly hot night, especially considering how soft, hot, and uncomfortable the mattress was. There was one window which was duct taped shut. Cobwebs on the windows, old chewing gum stuck to the walls, grime on the basin, doors and skirting boards were swollen and split due to water damage, and the doorless shower overflowed throughout the bathroom.

The location was good and the area was quiet.

Broken window in kitchen with part of the window in the alley way at the back.of the rooms. Sticky tape applied to part that remained. No staff on duty so had to phone their mobile to get code for key box. Bathroom very dated and bloody freezing.

Well, there was a nail coming out of the carpet in my room that I stepped on. The floor in the room overall appeared unclean. Reception was closed most of the time. I was told on the phone prior to my stay that reception was open until 6:00pm and that I could leave my bags there until then as we planned to go to Sovereign Hill for the day. We arrived and the reception was closed. I let them know that we were waiting and they came after around 10 minutes. I noticed the sign on the front of the reception saying they may close early sometimes (keep in mind it was 10:00am at this point). I was told by two different people after this that the reception would be closing at 3:00pm, then another staff member said 4:00pm, despite originally being told 6:00pm on the phone. Horrible communicators.

The only negative point was the unavailability of breakfast in the hotel, however was not a big deal.

Honestly, it exceeded my expectations. I was expecting a room, but it turned out to be a suite with a kitchen and all the necessary kitchen tools, such as a toaster, tea packages, a fridge, two TVs (one in the lobby and one in the bedroom), a private spa, and more. The room, towels, bed, and linen were all quite clean. The hotel is well-located in Ballarat and easily accessible, especially at night when you want to have a drink at bars. You can walk to the hotel without concerns about breaking any driving rules. Parking the car in front of the room made it easy to move our belongings in and out. I highly recommend this hotel, and if I plan another trip to Ballarat, I will definitely choose the same hotel for my stay.

Room was very dark without lights on, only window was in a sort of walled area so no real light, most rooms had window at the front so I would request this of staying there. No comfortable seating only desk chairs. Table a length of chipboard attached to the wall same side as TV so no where to put a cup of plate while watching TV Water pressure in the sink very poor but shower was okay.

Very large room, with 2 beds. Queen bed was comfortable and had electric blankets. Sink, detergent provided, microwave and large fridge, parking outside the room.

We have stayed here quite a few times but this time the room had a horrible smell and the water in the shower went cold halfway through my shower.

The location is handy when travelling through Ballarat.
