Room was looking a bit tired. Cleaning could have been better. Towels were shabby.

Unfortunately,,,General presentation and attention to detail …was sadly lacking both inside and out. Linen bags left on verandah. Laundry door propped open with a cleaning detergent. Bathroom tiles floors and walls need CLEANING. Rooms in need of urgent upgrade. Young guy in reception was very rude and really couldn’t be bothered. After 50+ years in hospitality I find this to be a total disregard for your customers 😡😡

The price they charged for the room was crazy but being over a busy long weekend they out the prices up a lot because people like me have to pay it for a bball tournament. I understand peak times but your price should still match what you are offering

Probably the most dusty place I have ever stayed. Skirting board, corner, top of wardrobe, top of fridge, under bed etc all had a thick layers of dust. You could run your finger just about anywhere and it was caked in dust. Me and my son spent the whole time sneezing and coughing, it was not clean at all.

We were freezing! the doona was a very thin, see through summer-weight number that was not sufficient. We had to ask twice for a blanket or something else to keep us warm. One bad side light had no globe in it and the tv was so high up on the wall that we had to practically lie back on the sofa to watch it - really could have designed the room better. The door had a lock that did nothing and felt very flimsy and unsafe.

It was easy to find, location and parking was good.

The manager Mark was abrupt/rude on arrival at the property. Better customer service would be appreciated when people are checking in & out or asking for information on the local area. The room had no information books or brochures on local attractions, places to eat & drink or transport. A locked luggage storage room would be helpful for people travelling to Ballarat via public transport rather the just being left in the open reception building. The room could do with some more cleaning as the bedside tables were sticky & missing handles and the carpet could do with a good vacuum as the dark carpet was thick with dust in places.

No heating in the bathroom. Ballarat is very cold in winter. The bathroom (VERY LARGE) was so cold I did not shower?

We booked a room with 'kitchenette'. Not really enough to classify as a kitchette- No sink, so wash dishes in bathroom. Microwave plus very large fridge (what for if all you can do is microwave?). The reverse cycle air conditioner was not able to heat the room. Electric blanket did not work. Shower has hot water only when others have not been using it- clearly need to install additional water heatinq! The room had no window- door to balcony has frosted glass, letting in light, but no window is very poor. Reception staffed over limited hours only- door to reception still locked when we checked out in the morningl

We were kept awake from banging in the roof from Plumbing all night, I hurt my foot in the room as there were nails sticking out of the carpet, the water took 5 minutes to actually get hot

Furniture was very worn and marked - Side tables, fridge, armchair. the webb site advertised a dining and bar area accompanied by pictures. That was why we booked six rooms for two nights and two rooms for one night. No such gathering place existed! Reason given by reception staff - "old website". It was false advertising! Not good enough. Quality Inn need to update their web site.
