Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaWaking up to a construction site at 7am with literal jack hammer, waking up to the sound of the elevator give my sore was directly across from the elevators. Bathroom had no fan which was then hard to get ready with everything fogged up.
It was an easy location for event that was on at the same hotel

AustraliaWhen we booked we asked about parking as we have a small van, which doesn't fit in all car parks. We were told there was open air parking, but the open air car park was closed. The van didn't fit in the undercover car park. There was construction across the road, so we had nowhere close to park. Due to the location of the hotel we had to drive places. We knew that when we booked. But having to think about parking every time we left was really inconvenient.
The hotel was super clean and the beds were comfy.

AustraliaIt was a little tired, scratched doors, curtains difficult to pull and broken, not enough power points at the bed for all the modern charging requirements. Also - breakfast was very slow waiting for coffee very slow and when it arrived it was cold. Cocktails were also slow in the bar. Wasn’t impressed with their steaks - taste was wonderful but it was small and flat - supposed to be 300g and would be lucky to have been 100g and that’s more than shrinkage with cooking.
Great bar, amenities were good, staff were great and it was clean & comfortable - great number of mirrors in the room!

AustraliaPoor lighting in room, no ceiling lights, only lamps. No exhaust in bathroom. Online welcome QR didn't work properly and could not work out mini bar costs or how to operate the old style thermostat and ac unit. No decafe coffee. Barista coffee was not included in breakfast pricing with room. Had to pay extra. Breakfast was nice but menu was very limited. Also ran out of bananas. Seemed not to be well stocked. Price of parking was expensive given there is no alternative parking and plenty at hotel. Should be complimentary. Room was affordable but might have selected somewhere else if I had known parking was $60 for two nights
The restaurant downstairs was stylish. Hotel has a nice vibe. Toiletries were very nice

AustraliaThere was a small amount of mould in the bathroom. The window looked out over a construction site, which was fine but unexpected. Would have been good to know parking was $30 in advance.
Foyer was beautiful. Enjoyed the artworks and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

AustraliaThe staff never attempted to help us with the parking problem. They did not care at all which was quite shocking for a hotel. He just told us vaguely that there’s parking nearby. As we’re from another state & not familiar with the place, we asked for the nearby parking address and he just said that he doesn’t have the details. I asked if we can park in front & he said we can’t. I went back to the Front Desk a few times just in case a space becomes available which was quite frustrating. When I went back at night, he just said, “customers were parking in front even if they’re not allowed to & we can’t do anything”. I was speechless & extremely disappointed.

AustraliaWhen we arrived we were told they had over booked our suite and we were given a very poor adjoining room you could hear the lift. We were travelling with a toddler and an infant so my husband had to sleep in one room with one child and me in the other with our baby. We ordered room service on the first night including 2 glasses of $30 each champagne- it arrived flat and was obviously from an old bottle, we explained this to the hotel, they did nothing. We did not return for our included breakfast on the second morning. The whole experience was awful and the staff did not care less about our suite not being available - they tried to pass off the adjoining rooms as an ‘upgrade’ and basically made us feel like we should just get over it.

United StatesThere was on going construction, i think for future light rail. It was a bit challenging at times getting to the building. We had to walk around the construction, scaffolding.
Breakfast I had first morning. It was expensive, $30. Delicious for me though. The location was not bad.

AustraliaNo exhaust fan in the bathroom (or toilet brush - which my husband didn't enjoy!) There are substantial construction works going on directly opposite the hotel which, while obviously out of the hotel's control, sound like a helicopter hovering and continue for all daylight hours – so maybe take earplugs if you fancy a lie in.
Clean and comfortable, reception staff were warm and welcoming.

AustraliaMy bathroom was disgusting, my partner was meant to be taken on a romantic lil trip, but instead he wished to stay at his house. The bathroom smelt strongly of urine, I cleaned the bathroom floors myself trying to rid the smell and the shower was moldy. I’ve stayed at most QT’s and this one is not a QT, it’s a run down Rydges with some tacky lamps.
