Just because the hotel is in quite an old building, very nicely renovated however, our room happened to be next to the lift well. The old lifts are noisy and can be easily heard through the walls.

Don't like the spooky wall transfer pictures in the lifts. More signage to find the front of hotel and carpark entrance would be good whilst building work going on. Also couldn't work the apps on our tv using the remote to access entertainment and not sure if it was due to a fault or us but not a user friendly interface. Could only get free to air tv.

Staff were very friendly and the restaurant is lovely. Rooms clean and comfortable. Great central location. Loved the green initiative with option to decline room service and get a cashback.

The bathroom was in need of a desparate upgrade. Unfortunately there is construction going on around the hotel so access tricky. Not their fault.

Facing over a construction site which I know can’t be helped but we could hear the machines from early in the morning. The room is dated and old. Few of the items in the mini bar were out of date.

Seems like good value as it was at a discounted rate. Lots of parking in carpark. Bed and pillows were good. We were greeted nicely at reception.

The accessible room is very tight for a wheelchair user. The bathroom sliding door was too heavy to move and difficult to open and close

Not that the hotel can do much about it, but the works being done at the front of the hotel for light rail make accessing the property a challenge. The rear parking also has no accessible ramp into the hotel, making it difficult to access on crutches.

Good location for access to New Acton precinct; room was a good size. It's clearly an older hotel that has been renovated, and some of the old hotel feels are still there, but they have done a great job of uplifting the interior to make it feel modern. Capitol Bar & Grill downstairs is excellent.

$30 for parking is pretty steep and I had to sleep without a pillow because they were so big and hard

I attempted calling the property numerous times before our arrival to change the bedding configuration but wasn’t able to get through despite trying 3-4 times on different days at different times when I mentioned this to the Check in staff he just said yeah they’re busy. We had driven from Melbourne do arrived quite late 6 ish, to be told there was no parking on site and the restaurant was full. I

The parking should have been organised when we paid for our stay UPON CHECK IN. The guy who checked us out did not even look at registered car in one of the three rooms we booked. So we paid $45 for parking when it should be $30. He did not even applogized for the inconvenience when he should have had a look at it when we asked if everything is sorted. He has poor customer service skills. Alao in booking.com it says breakfast is included when one of the rooms did not have it. Maybe double check the features for each room booked to see if it is accurate?

Coffee had to be purchased separately with the breakfast. Room was almost too warm. As a woman of a certain age ; p I would have liked to be able to have a way to cool myself so either a fan or access to room temp control.

Staff were warm, attentive and friendly, decor was really stylish. Breakfast was delicious. Bed and pillows super comfy.

Massive 24/7 Construction site across the road for the light rail stage 2. But surprisingly wasn’t too noisy (our room faced the construction site)

Rooms were a bit outdated. Location was about a 10min walk to city. Lots of construction in area.

The restaurant was nice, had breakfast included which was delicious. Have to pay extra for barista coffee otherwise tea juices were included. Quite quirky and fun hotel!
