Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MalaysiaWe found a plaster stuck to the back of our TV remote - unclear as to whether it was used or not, but it didn't fill us with confidence in how thorough the cleaning staff were being if that somehow went unnoticed!
The staff were all very helpful and friendly (when we informed them about the plaster, she lady at reception waived our parking fees and was very apologetic). I thought the facilities & toiletries provided in the room were good, and the beds were very comfortable.

AustraliaRoom service and front desk wasn't available as promptly or at all when needed. Seemed very under staff or not well staffed. I worked in 5 star hotels for many years and know what basic service is and I didn't feel it this visit unlike last visit prior to Covid when service and facilities were both exception. I feel standards have lowered and rates increased.
Room was adequate with nice view and furnishings but some of the nicer touches evident in my last stay weren't present such as quality glassware in rooms.

GermanyThere are some construction works going on at the moment but if you get a room at the back, it's fine. We had problems with the aircondition in our room but got a fan and you could also open the door to the balcony which was good.
QT has got a very good location. Pretty close to the city center (shops, restaurants, cafés nearby). Lake Burley Griffin within walking distance. Great interior design, amazing food in the restaurant.

AustraliaBalcony balustrades could be cleaner and cobwebs cleared. The construction site across the road is a pain but it’s not the hotel’s fault. Would be excellent if the QT had a pool…
Excellent hotel. Very comfortable rooms and beds. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Bike hire is really helpful. Location is not bad, considering everything is spread out in canberra

AustraliaThe actual hotel had clearly had a renovation but the bones are still an older design. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was ineffectual and the small balcony was covered in cobwebs.
The staff were fantastic, pleasant, and friendly. The rooms were a good size and the beds were very comfortable. We liked that you could have fresh air via the balcony or open window. The dyson hair-dryer and straighteners were a great add on

AustraliaWe weren’t informed the room has a shared balcony and a bit surprised seeing other people walking past outside the room. It’s not a big issue but if I’d have known I’d chose not to have the room with a shared balcony. Also wasn’t aware of pets are allowed, which is also perfectly fine, but if I’d have known I’d ask my room not to be close to rooms that have dogs (which some have barked a bit in the night).
Staff was very friendly and helpful about giving directions to restaurants and the lake for the drone show.

AustraliaExcellent location. Separate room with fold out bed for the kids makes sleeping much easier at night and an extra bathroom. Exceptional extras including coffee machine, milk frother, robes, Kevin Murphy toiletries and Dyson styler. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Will definitely book here again
