Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

AustraliaRooms were basic (and we were in the big king room) and not laid out well, not heaps of room for suitcase. No where to hang bath towels and the view- well a worksite opposite with fluro lights left on 24/7 was a real delight. It is also extremely noisy, not sound proof glass/room at all. Bed was slightly dippy and the waterproof underlay was hot to sleep on. They gave us 1 tiny milk and didn’t replace when room was serviced I also trod on a piece of glass or something sharp the first day in the bathroom and it is now embedded in my heel, also no where to place makeup bag without taking up the whole space. Plenty of other nicer places to stay close in the cbd.
Firstly location was fantastic Service was lovely and staff were friendly however they do not answer phones- I rang 6 times and was on call waiting for over 20 minutes when I tried to call.

TurkeyThe bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. There were no slippers in the room. There was no make-up mirror in the bathroom. Also it was so noisy it was impossible to sleep. The bathroom opened into the room, which was very disturbing. Breakfast was served on the table, it was not a good breakfast at all, there was no variety. It wasn't like a five star hotel. The doorman in black clothes greet you but does not help you at all with carrying luggages. It was like a night club rather than a hotel. It was very dark inside and there was always upbeat music everywhere.

Thailand- Loud obnoxious music EVERYWHERE. Sad attempt at hipness, what manager thought this would be a good idea? Even different music in reception vs elevator vs room floors. Makes everybody stressed out the minute they step into the place. To top it off 'quirky' messages in a russian accent over the speaker in the elevator, which would be funny if it was funny but it's again so forced. Just gets you out of whatever flow or chill mode you'd been in. - Reception always understaffed. And the slowest computer system I’ve seen in any hotel anywhere. - Dark dark dark. This is where vampires dwell lol. But really; what a depressing form of 'luxury'.

AustraliaStayed on Formula 1 weekend, paying extremely high prices compared to usual. Service was particuarly bad, and disappointing attitude of multiple employees. Not good enough for a 5 star hotel. Was no offer to take our bags, pillow and table had a stain on arrival, room wasn't made up on second day of stay, no offer to book taxi upon checkout. Poor design in bathroom with only 1 rail to hang 2 towels, no where to hang robes. No slippers provided until requested. Very cheap material robe and slippers not 5 star standard. Only 1 bag rack and some complimentary water bottles would be good, and expected for a hotel of this price. Also, annoying phone that is not intuitive and dialling 9 the (universal standard) doesn't call reception. Prompted to install an app instead and limited hotel info via the tv. Some clearer instructions rather then trying to be fancy would be more user friendly, then buttons like "feed me" & "help me" on the remote.
Location is excellent and the hotel is modern, room is pretty good but lacking some things. Very comfortable bed, good lighting in the room (apart from bathroom not great for makeup), air con bit slow to get going but worked well. Decent window from level 2 room.

AustraliaThe beds were horrible because they were like a trampoline. If you are used to a great bed and good quality breathable sheets then don’t book here. The check-in staff was rude and when asked about checking out was met with a poor demeanor. The restaurant/rooftop bar didn’t have great service as it took a very long time to get my drink after it was ordered, and the staff seemed uninterested in seating us. The room has no view and I was staring at construction sites. There was police or ambulance sirens all night, which was not pleasant. There wasn’t a great range of amenities and the lighting was so poor for doing make up or literally anything in the room. We couldn’t wait to leave! We stayed at QTs on the Gold Coast and in Queenstown and Melbourne was by far the worst hotel. If you like 5 star or even 4 star with great service then go anywhere else. Also has a hidden policy when asking to check out early and charge a min of two nights. Do yourself a favor if you like luxury and sleep, book elsewhere.

New ZealandAt 1am while we were fast asleep, we had a call from a person at reception demanding we go downstairs to sort the bill because there was an issue with payment and the receptionist on duty was very rude as he didn’t consider the time of night and the fact that we were asleep. Despite assuring him that I can see a debit on my credit card statement he kept being rude I tried explaining that it must be a system error which was but he was so rude he didn’t want to listen he made us feel like we had committed a crime. When we went to check out in the morning the manager was very apologetic and they didn’t accept the behaviour of Eva the receptionist on night duty. Eva lacks manners and customer services skills.
