Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaRoom Service/In room Dining: We used the room service once during out stay and unfortunately, this is what let down our stay. You had to order room service via the app. Which we did. We proceeded with our order, received a confirmation of order, and expected time of delivery to our room (approx. 20 mins after we ordered). And an hour and half of waiting for our order, I ordered again, incase there was glitch with our order…We didn’t mind receiving the order twice as we were really hungry by then. I followed the same process of ordering via the app and another expected time of room delivery (again approx. 20 mins from order time). When the second order didn’t come, I looked for a contact number to phone the kitchen. Unfortunately, there was no number. There was only 1 phone in the room with no contact numbers, so in the end we had to call to hotel, using our mobiles to speak with reception to discuss the in room dining issues. Upon reviewing the internal QT ordering system, we were informed that neither of our orders had gone through to the kitchen. I explained step by step the process I followed using the app and was informed it appeared I had followed the steps correctly but there was no explanation as to why the orders hadn’t been received to the kitchen. Our order was processed, and we received our order shortly after that, close to 10pm. We started the process or ordering around 7pm. Next time, I wouldn’t even bother with the in-room dining, I will just use Uber eats. Something I only thought off after the entire process.
We stayed at QT for a weekend visit to Melbourne recently. We chose QT as we had never stayed before, and it was central to the location where we wanted to be in the CBD and close to the theatres, we were seeing shows at. We were able to source a pretty good deal from booking.com that included breakfast. Check-in: Was fast and easy. Service was impeccable. We arrived early from our flight. At 1pm (ish) and we were able to be accommodated for an early check-in which was great! Our room was fabulous and spacious. We stayed in a king room. The bed was very comfortable (soft Your body just melted into the mattress). The pillows were soft and fluffy and very comfortable also. The room came equipped with a stocked mini bar with snacks/soft drinks/juice and alcoholic beverages. There was a coffee pod machine also, however we didn’t use it (Melbourne has such great coffee!). The cleanliness of the room was of a high standard (being an ex-hospitality employee for 5-star resorts in a past life, I am always observing cleanliness of hotels when staying). The amenities were of a high quality also. The towels are LARGE and fluffy! The room also had bathrooms for complimentary use and an in-room safe. Breakfast: was a la-cart. We chose the hangover from the menu, which consisted of fried eggs/bacon/mushrooms/toast/ chorizo/tomato/hashbrown. The portion size was big for a 5-star hotel breakfast. And we also chose the breakky burger which came complete with little hash browns. The food was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious! Roof top: We visited the roof top bar and had a cocktail. The service was great and the food was delicious. Overall, we enjoyed our stay with QT Melbourne and would stay again.

AustraliaGym facilities could have been better but is sufficient.
Staff were amazing, they called me early to say our room was ready for check-in prior to the advertised time, which is honestly one of the best things a hotel has ever done for me! We were tired! The room itself was a corner bath room which was finished superbly, the bath is amazing and the bed is super comfy. Rooftop is superb. Room service menu is surprisingly good value. Location is perfect.

AustraliaSlippers would be good given the floors are not carpeted. Needs better sound sealing between bathroom/toilet and rest of room. Needs some ventilation or air freshener in the toilet
Bring upgraded to executive King suite with bathtub and extra room. Loved the location surrounded by some of Melbourne's best cafes, restaurants and bars. The staff were very professional and friendly. The beds were super comfortable and the sun was beautiful steaming through the window in the afternoon

AustraliaThe gym is too small and hidden away. We missed the breakfast buffet and then they struggled to process the bill at check out because it took them such a long time to charge the ala carte breakfast to the account.
The roof top bar is very enjoyable and nice vibe in the foyer.

AustraliaThe roof top bar was closed for private function and we were not informed as we were booking or we would not have stayed that night. All guests should be informed as they are making a reservation if the rooftop bar is closed as a lot of guests know this hotel for the roof top bar and it’s VERY disappointing when told on arrival it cannot be used!

AustraliaNothing - all was perfect.
Great hotel. Couldn’t ask for a better location - it is close to everything. Staff were all fantastic and super professional. The front of house dog (Dexter?) that met us on arrival and showed us to the front desk was an absolute highlight. Check in and check out were seamless. The room was lovely and very quiet. Beds very comfortable. The design of the hotel itself is fantastic. Everything felt modern and very clean. We are both looking forward to returning soon.

Australiathe only negative is that when we went to the buffet the next morning we were told it was a 40 min wait, which wasn’t ideal and there looked to be spare tables inside so that was mildly confusing.
easy to get to, quick checkin in and check out. the room was lovely and spacious and the bathroom was beautiful. the staff even went the extra mile to lay out a little mixed cocktail for us as it was our wedding night.
