How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

My key card didn't work when coming back to my room and needed the manager to unlock it with the master key.
Room was so nice and big. Bed was super comfy. Check in and out was super quick and easy. Staff were very helpful.

Took us a while to work out the lifts (weren't told on check-in). A bit of a walk to our car park. Were overcharged at breakfast. No door on toilet!
The location was great - right in the middle of the city. Rooms were a good size and beds comfy.

When booking did not tell us they had water testing happening till 5pm. So could get water to work after getting in shower

We were on level 3 and just above the function room where there was a very loud function on until 11.30 / 11.45 pm so I couldn't sleep until the loud music had stopped.
Location is great! We could walk anywhere in the city or even over to Northbridge. We enjoyed the rooftop bar and having some drinks as the sun was going down and listening to the DJ. The staff were very friendly and professional.

the bathroom is dark and as I'm a 63 year old woman there was no magnifying mirror and the lighting was very dark. Not light enough to be able to see myself as very hard to put on makeup. My phone was not working at all until the staff organised someone to fix the next day. They need a pamphlet or folder too say where to find everything what times etc for meals etc. Not all people are television Tech savvy,

Check in was tricky because there was no room to park as we checked in, my partner had to drop me off then drive around until I worked out the parking and did the check in then called him to tell him where to park. Vallet parking was $75 Per day so we opted for parking down the road $18 per day.
Great location close to shops, restaurants and public transport. Check in staff were very nice. Onsite bar Clean room and great mini bar. Nice big bath.

The shower water, very tempamentle between hot & cold. Basically had cold showers and it was only 3rd floor
We really enjoyed how comfortable the bed was. Best one by far.

The bed was too soft for my liking. Other than that everything else was perfect.

The toilet was not closed in and therefore you could hear everything from the bed. We felt as a married couple of 22 years and therefore having lived together, the open toilet was not as big a drawback, but we discussed the fact that you would have to know each other very well to stay in this type of accommodation. There was a great deal of noise from the music/band in the bar on Saturday night which we could hear from our room.
The room was nice and sizeable and the location was really good. It was a very pleasant anniversary stay although we missed out on dining in as we did not book.

Couldn’t find the remote after a few tipples and couldn’t work the shower control 😂 More a guest situation rather than a property one.
Very quirky and well decorated. As a solo female guest, felt very safe and comfortable. Other guests were respectful and kind.

Room provided was on a low floor with unpleasant view of the hotel roof ventilation. Parking unavailable on site (but available nearby).
Modern and contemporary room. Fun atmosphere. Great roof top bar on site. Walking distance to most places in Perth CBD.
