Certainly not as advertised. The signage as advertised is non existent. The stench of cigarette smoke in the room is putrid. The bathroom door is battered and broken and the toilet cover is taped down with black tape. The adjoining neighbour stayed up until 4:00am and awakened to a jack hammer fixing the security gate at 8:00am. $100 for a $40 stay…booking.com should remove.

i had two signed formula one driver hats stolen, and had a man next door to my room screaming out scary and inappropriate things all night long.

Didn’t end up staying, the reviews spoke volumes! Location would have been good for our intended stay.

Wanted to cancel my stay due to reading the reviews - to be fair I didn’t give much notice but they only received a cancellation request and didn’t even bother to ask why we couldn’t stay they just denied it. I have since emailed to advise why we didn’t want to stay and suggested that they keep the prepayment but not take any further funds which was ignored and they took full payment. Read the reviews - don’t bother booking, I was fine with a cheap stay and probably less than comfortable bedding and less than quality facilities - but I was not prepared to stay at a hotel with multiple reports of bed bugs! Booking.com should take these reviews into account and not promote this hotel!

the entire carpet was saturated and the bed was on the floor. the bed then became saturated as it soaked up whatever was on the carpet. the tiles were squeaking because there was water underneath them too. everything was damp and stank.

the fact that they took us in so late. we were caught in the rain and freezing cold and we booked online on the spot with no issues.

The bed. The matress was old and I felt the springs getting into my ribs. The room was kind of old and the walls had a few nails and screws. No TV. Also, the smell in the room was not bad but it was not pleasant.

The location because was close to where my friends live. That's all.

No bar fridge — “supplier hold up.” No Internet. Seedy feel. I held my breath walking in and out of the building, as the smells were unpleasant.

The staff were friendly. The apartment was recently repainted – walls and ceiling. A new kitchen and wardrobe were installed. The water pressure and heat in the shower was good. In the dead of a very cold winter, I got a summer experience because the building’s heater was set so high that I had to leave the window wide open all night, which created the illusion of a warm breeze.

The room was being renovated. The bed mattress that was initially in the room was noisy and creaked and uncomfortable. On the second or third day a new mattress was installed in the room along with a couch, Did not have a fridge the whole time as per the advertising. The entrance door still had the old lock area filled with filler and not pained etc. the round table had graffiti written on it, the tv cabinet was very badly scratched and not up to standard. Paint drops on the floor in the bathroom and on the stove top. the room did have an odour to it. The screen door would not lock. There are a number of there improvements that need to be done as well. I will be asking for a refund.

The location was excellent for for me. Room was clean and a good size. Heating excellent. Bed side tables good but not light on them. The manager helpful and friendly. Shower excellent.

Room, bed and building smelt strongly of cigarettes. Sheets hadn't been changed prior to arrival, though a staff member picked up on this when showing me to the room and fixed it.

Cockraoches everywhere in bed, and all over the room. The mattress seemed like it would've been comfortable, if not for the roaches! Had to keep ringing reception every time I wanted back in the room.

None of the facilities I paid for worked, TV was broken, cooker top broken toilet was not connected to wall and the seat fell off. The cuboard doors were also broken off. I had drug addicts trying to enter my room in the middle off the night all through the week, people fighting throughout the building and people with serious mental illness screaming for hours on end, There were mice, the bins weren’t emptied from the previous guest and neither was the fridge. They also hadn’t clean the room, hair clipping all over the place. I have a queen size bed with a single size quilt Exposed wires out the wall socket Also no Wi-Fi This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed in my life. If should be removed from booking sites and solely used for social/welfare housing because that’s what half the building is.

The bed was hard as a board, the ceiling fan did not work so it was stifling the entire weekend, the other tenants were noisy, the shower was ok but dated, there were black bugs everywhere and so it was 2 stars but should be more like 1 star.

The location is minutes to Chapel Street which has chic shops and excellent pubs up and down the length of it.

There were bed bugs. When I discovered them I sprayed the bed with fly spray and slept on top of the bed under a blanket. Also the blind broke when I was trying to pull it up and I told the lady at reception and she had a look but did not come back with someone to fix it. That was before I discovered the bed bugs. A horrible experience.

The staff had no idea what they were doing. The room was not as described - we were meant to have two double beds but had one and a sofa bed that they didn't provide sheets for. There were cockroaches in the bathroom and we've left covered in bed bug bites.

The area was quiet and close to a tram stop to get to the city.
