Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Room had bright flood light shining into windows into room at night. I range the on duty manager could not swap or refund the room. The worst hotel room ever booked and i travel often for business.

AustraliaWe had a great room, the view was not the best mostly city, however the view from the roof top table & chairs, BBQ area which we had breakfast at and dinner one night was good you could see the harbour bridge through the trees. The facilities washer and dryer was so easy to use not coin operated so that was even better. The service from all the staff, reception and housekeeping was so good they were able to help out with storage of suitcases as we had a late flight. Extra tea, coffee was soo good. Its the little things that make a stay enjoyable

United StatesWe were given a subpar basement room, probably reserved for third-party bookings. (We heard someone else complaining about it. We’ve had this problem before.) There was a musty smell, in part due to the poor shower design, which made the carpet wet outside the bathroom door. Also, the window coverings, loveseat and chairs were filthy. The guy at reception said we could check in early (a plus), but when we came back at the time he told us to return, there was no one at the desk. When he finally showed up 25 minutes later, he ignored us, walked right past us and went outside. Someone else finally acknowledged us and checked us in.

United StatesAccording to two desk clerks none of the safes worked in the entire hotel. Couch was dirty, old and tattered. Air conditioner was draining water onto the floor. Started thrusday night told staff on friday morning and was told no maintenace was available until Monday. I had to put a pan under the ac to catch the water for 4 days. Frying pan had so much of the non stick coating coming off that i couldn't use it. The only reason i gave it any score was because it is convenient to public transportation and the beds were comfortable.

United KingdomThere was a terrible beeping sound in my room that woke me up every 5-10 mins of the night, I tried everything to sort the issue, but not even turning off the trip switch sorted the problem. I can honestly say I had the worst nights sleep of my life and felt absolutely exhausted the next day. I spoke to reception in the morning but she only handed me a business card and told me to contact booking.com, there has been no apology. It was the most expensive hotel I stayed in over my 6 weeks holiday and by far the worst.
The property was in a good location, clean and well equipped.

United StatesWas not what was described. This view is nice from the 4th floor patio. Our room was In a basement. Couldn't or wouldn't move us. You have to tuck your legs under the sink to go to the toilet. Musty smelling. The older man on reception was useless. Had a maintenance problem and was told the guy would be there on sat. The sat inquiry said won't be back till monday. Didn't seem to care one way or another. So left w bathroom door unable to shut.not good for privacy as well as shower water spilling unto floot.
Location was a good hub. Easy to get to different places.

AustraliaWe found bugs flying around the room, a very noticeable mouldy odour, cobwebs, dust, mould on the chairs and in the shower. Due to my allergies to mould and dust, I started getting headaches, blocked nose, chesty cough and red puffy eyes. After staying 1 night I went down to reception and explained these issues. They offered to move us to another room so I requested to check the room before moving there. It was a smaller room and there was still mould in the shower. We requested a partial refund for the remaining 4 nights which they were happy with and said they would pass on the request to head office to confirm. We checked out that afternoon. The following week (I had to call), they said it had been approved and the manager would process the refund the following day. It has been approximately 3 weeks and we still haven’t received the partial refund, or any updates regarding this matter. I have called twice, and emailed management directly, but nothing has been done. I usually don’t post poor reviews, but the lack of communication and organisation from this hotel is deeply disappointing and upsetting.
The location was convenient. Very close to public transportation and various shops.
