Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandNothing really aside from the smallish bathroom and the shower rose was too high.
Good location we were next door to our friends. The balcony was great.

ColombiaThe place didn't really feel very clean, there was a musty smell and the sofa had some unpleasant brown stains in the room. The bathroom right next to the bed is not such a good idea.
Quite close to the City.

AustraliaThere's nothing I didn't like, I'm going to stay here next time I'm in Sydney
Position, close to railway, restaurants, walking paths to Elizabeth Bay and historic Elizabeth Bay House. Only 1 stop to town hall on the train then change to circular Quay, 1 stop.. Takes 10 minutes. The cafe's and restaurants are everywhere in Kings cross and I walked to rushcutters Bay and had the best scrambled eggs!

AustraliaWould've liked a window to look out and open. A Bedside lamp would've also been handy.

KazakhstanRoom: - All windows were tightly closed, it was impossible to ventilate the room; - rotten air in the room, dust. - Dirty carpet and outdated fabrics on upholstered furniture; - Cleaning was never done during the week of stay! - Due to the unopened windows, we had to turn the air conditioner to “Fan” mode, and a runny nose and cough appeared! - Instead of a duvet cover, the beds use two sheets - this is very uncomfortable!
- Nice compact hotel. Excellent location close to King's Cross station; - Walk to the Sydney Opera House in approximately 20 minutes; - In front of the hotel there is a fruit and vegetable store - Harris Farm. Coles and Woolworths metro markets are also nearby. - Comfortable kitchen with sink, toaster, gas stove, kettle, refrigerator and dishes. - Laundry room with washing machine and dryer in the basement.

AustraliaLoved the location and the ambience. The staff were extremely helpful, especially with unplanned complications during our visit. Excellent value and quiet rooms around the corner from the lively Kings Cross. Having a view of the city and harbour bridge from both rooms was a bonus.

AustraliaRoom incredibly small for 2 people. Despite booking for 2 people, room only had facilities for one eg toiletries, towels, one light on one side of the bed. There were 2 broken PowerPoints in the room which had no safety cover on or sign to say do not use. when we told reception, they didn’t seem bothered.
Location was good Rooftop balcony lovely

United KingdomThere is not much storage space in the room. Not a place to have a car
Perfect location for loads of cafes, restaurants and bars. Easy access to the CBD by train, bus or walking. Fab views from the rooftop terrace.

United KingdomGreat location, room was clean. Only criticism is that the shower curtain was totally useless - had to use the second bath towel to stop water running out of the bathroom cubicle and on to the carpet in the bedroom when I had a shower!

New ZealandCasual chairs - fabric retained the dirt (as they were white and blue stripe - white showed up dirt marks quite badly).
Location of hotel to access to public transport, shops, eateries was awesome. Relatively easy walk to harbour area with sculptures on display. Cooking facilities in room was sufficiently stocked to put together light meals. Fridge was quiet. Shower had plenty of room. Beds were comfortable.

AustraliaSome of the power points didn’t work, the cold water over the kitchen sink changed to hot water after running it for a minute then stayed hot onwards. The shower was something from what you would see at the beach. There were small cockroaches in the kitchen cupboards. The room smelt musky and there was no ventilation. You had no choice but to use the air conditioner. The one staff member who we saw was nice and friendly. It’s definitely not on our list of places to stay again in a hurry.
It was convenient and handy to what we had planned for the weekend. The bed was very comfortable although it was only a Double.

DenmarkThe best part of this hotel is the roof terrace, where you can enjoy sunset/sunrise, or morning/evening meals. The hotel situated in a quiet one-way street near King Cross station. Traffic noise is not an issue. The room on 3rd floor was nice and clean at arrival. The elevator was rapid and no jam. There is no catering which suite us perfectly, and it is only 1-minute walk to a large grocery store which answer any gastronomical issues. The bathroom is standard for this type of rooms. Towels and toilet paper on demand, but you need to remined the stuff when you need a change. There is no daily Room-service. The kitchen facilities are sufficient.
