How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The internet streaming was so bad we could not watch anything only regular television.We came back to the apartment to find water from the air conditioner had swamped the lounge room floor.Management must have been advised of this as there had been a towel placed there.We turned the air conditioner off and notified staff but this should not have happened or should have been fixed before our arrival.
Comfortable and roomy.Pleasantly appointed.

Softer bed preferred.
Clean and serviced appartments. A quiet location away from the highway. Next to public swimming pool, a great meeting point for the extended family. Better to have your own car however local cab service was very good.

Cockroach and ant infestation in the apartment kitchen and dining areas. Carpet stains and furniture stains all over apartment, felt unclean.
One of the better hotels in Singleton, newer and very spacious. Staff were very lovely and accomodating. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment with a great view after booking a 1 bedroom.

Kitchen could use more dishes for entertaining. Being Xmas we had to use dinner plates as trays for nibblies etc.
Great size unit, beautiful soft king size bed. Laundry facilities, dishwasher, ensuite in main bedroom. Close to beautiful wineries, cheese and chocolate factories, distillery, every temptation catered for.

It would have been good to have sun on the balcony but the location of this room did not allow for it.
Quiet location for a great nights sleep. A family reunion so I cooked in the kitchen which had all I needed. Clean and spacious rooms. Helpful reception staff.

I think there was a miscomm but housekeeping missed out our room on Monday morning. With kids, having a clean room to get back to is very important to me. However all else was great. Even after hours, it was easy to contact staff.
Everything abt Quest is excellent as usual. We always stay at Quest when in Aust. Staff at Quest Singleton were all so lovely thank you guys.

A mistake was made with our requested bedding arrangements and the apartments accommodated us in a new room. Facility is clean quiet and comfortable. It is a bit expensive for a regional town.

No stocked minibar.
Very quiet location, away from the noisy main road. Bedrooms are set back from the building exterior making them extra quiet. Car park is away from the rooms, so other guests leaving early in the morning don't wake you. Likewise, if you're leaving early, you don't have to worry about waking other guests.

I loved the spaciousness of the accommodation, the bed was super comfy and the shower / bathroom facilities were excellent. Cooking facilities were great. I was making a cake for an event I was attending and required an oven - one of the few places I have stayed with full oven.

TV could have Netflix and You Tube for families to enjoy. I couldnt connect to my Netflix as there was some issue with TV/network there.
Overall I am very happy staying at Quest. The one bedroom apartment on ground floor was pretty clean and compact. End to end experience since checkin n checkout was easy. Parking is just outside and there was ample parking available. Eateries/Food courts were very close to Quest which is another plus point.
