Would have given perfect rating, the only issue was the terrible shower in our room, water was a trickle/dribble, couldn’t have watched hair etc. pressure ok on cold water but not with hot.

Location! Close to transport and many attractions while having the benefit of a quiet street location.

Noise seems to travel through the walls reasonably easily. However this wasn't a real issue as all the guests were respsctful of people's need to sleep at night.

The location was superb. Close to Fitzroy and Acland streets whilst being far enough away to avoid the noise. the facilities in the room were good. We were looking for an apartment type room and it had the basic requirements all in place.

The sound from the room next was very easy to hear. The children screamed until after 12:30am which kept us awake.

The location was great close to cafes and a very short walk to the beach.

Hot water was VERY hot - a warning notice might be sensible, particularly if families use these apartments. Would have been good to have been able to prop the balcony door open for fresh air as there are no other opening windows. Paying a bond for a one-night stay which has not yet been returned though we were advised that this would be processed when we checked out.

Welcoming staff. A nicely designed and well presented studio apartment, with the kitchen in a separate space from the bedroom, overlooking a church with a pretty garden, in a quiet street in St Kilda. Trams to city close by, also Acland Street cafes and the Palais Theatre. We did not use the kitchen but it seemed well equipped and clean. A separate washing machine and tumble dryer in the bathroom. Lovely toiletries in the shower.

The mattresses were not for us. There was not heaps of hot water and when using the hot water in the kitchen sink the pipes in the bathroom made a horrible screeching sound. There was ample quest parking and the $25 per night felt very steep for the amount we paid per night. We also had (not the fault of the quest) loud neighbours on our second night that kept us awake from approximately 1am to 5am, so a 24 hour number that could be called in cases such as that would be useful.

The location was great, walking distance to luna park and all food options. The staff were welcoming and the apartment was clean. Overall we had a positive experience and if travelling with our children we would stay here again.

Need a bit of dpace for food storage. Coffee making machine would have been lively!

There were just a few things that were more annoyances than deal breakers for me. Firstly was that there was no provision for lotion even though other toiletries were provided for. I couldn't get the TV to connect to the internet to stream from youtube,and for some reason the water pressure for the hot water in the shower was not a lot. Again these are just minor annoyances and can be fixed.

The room was comfortable and there was enough space for movement. I suspect my room was an inner room so there wasn't much of a view but that wasn't really an issue for me as I was out exploring for most of the day. The staff at the front desk were pleasant and happy to answer my questions whenever I approached them.

It’s all good but providing a proper breakfast as per European hotels would be good too.

We always like staying at Quest Bayside St Kilda. It’s nice , it’s in a pretty & tranquil street , very.convenient. Happy to return every Melbourne visit.

The shower cubicle was rather small. The car parking area was not very easy for manoeuvring. Getting the key fob to the pad for opening the gate was a bit of a stretch.

The apartment was very well equipped and quiet. There was secure undercover parking. The hotel is within easy reach of Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron and the bayside.

Google maps took us on a wild goose chase trying to find the property, we arrived at night so it was a struggle to see. Then the cot that we had requested wasn't in our room

The receptionist was absolutely fantastic, quickly found a portacot for us, and even offered to set it up and apologised profusely. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us without feeling like we were on top of each other. And I loved the full kitchen and laundry in our room. Definitely will be staying again if we ever have to head to Melbourne
