Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Unfortunately the bed was uncomfortable and smaller than expected and the blind on the bedroom window let a lot of light in. They would be better switching to thick curtains, light Le in the lounge.

Tv could have done with a few more channels. Aircon/heating was ok but i could see it being an issue on very hot or cold days. It didnr have a heap off output.
Location Room size Cant really see why it has bad reveiws unless your expecting champagne on a beer budget so to speak. Room was ready at 2pm check in,was nice and clean and had everyhing needed. Yes the building and its fittings are little old but the rate is barely above what some backpacker and capsule hotels charge and you dont have to wear thongs in the shower so whats not to like? Ill be back on my next stay.

Check In took just over 30 mins and only 2 in front of us. No bathrooms near foyer so not great after a long drive and waiting too long. An extra $200 gets taken from card as a deposit and you won't get back for 7 days. Couldn't access pool etc on level 3. Don't get sick as they won't let you change booking. If you are a light sleeper it won't be the place for you. We will still go back based on location cost and size of room only.
We loved the location. Close to theatre, tram, paddys markets. Large room with balcony. Reasonable cost only for the location. Car park on site

It met and exceeded expectations.
For a studio it was a great size with big balcony, full kitchen with big fridge and bonus of full laundry. Location was superb with light rail very close by.

I had an issue checking in as I didn’t have my full credit card details for the bond. I was tired and grumpy and the receptionist made me feel terrible, I had to wait for the manager who told me that there are rules. Given that I had already paid via Booking.com, I didn’t feel particularly important.

Receptionist wasn't especially friendly or welcoming. I was left standing for close to 10 mins with reception unattended.

The exhaust fan over the cooker in the kitchen didn't work at all and I had trouble getting the microwave to work , but staff sorted it out. Communication by email can be a bit too frequent and repetitive, with many updates and messages. Final receipt sent by email, rather than when checking out. The $200 bond seems excessive, although no problems getting it back.
The apartments are quite large and so are bathrooms. Good, comfortable beds and pillows, basic kitchen equipment and comfortable lounge area. Very big undercover outdoor area, but no view ( we were on the 6th floor ). Sound insulation was good and it was very clean. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, but very busy. There's a big supermarket across the road in World Square and lots of restaurants and takeaway food places nearby. The light rail Chinatown stop is a few minutes walk away. Good value by CBD standards.
