The property was spotless and Anni (the host) left thoughtful little items in the kitchen for us (cold water bottles in the fridge, coke, chocolates etc) - it was a nice touch! Ample space for my parents, me and my husband to lounge around and the kitchen was a full kitchen with stove tops and oven - super handy in the end, as we were not able to get into any pubs in Portland and ended up cooking dinner from stuff bought from the IGA across the road. Also right next to what looks like a fantastic bakery, but unfortunately we weren't able to try it out for ourselves as they were closed for the holidays. Would definitely recommend and stay again if we are ever in Portland.

This is a very comfortable apartment. The rooms are very spacious and clean. It was very nice of the host to arrange some complementary treats. The only regret is we wish we stayed a bit longer at this place. Highly recommended.

There was a doona but no sheets for the sofa bed. Main bed downstairs not very comfortable. Noise from adjacent apartment was easily heard until late hours of the night.

Bottle of wine and chocolate provided on our arrival. Air conditioner had been left on to provide a lovely cool temperature in the apartment. I really liked the layout of the apartment with a loft/attic bedroom on the upper level. Very good cooking facilities if you want to prepare your own meals.

Up a long flight of external stairs. Couldn't open the window in our bedroom (appreciate it might have been my incompetence!). Had planned to use the washing machine, but there was no washing powder.. Upstairs bedroom entirely open to living area below. No outside space (would have been a shame if we had been there longer).

Comfortable, spacious, much appreciated the wine and chocolate! Sadly not there long enough to take advantage of the well equipped kitchen. Easy parking. Right next to great bakery, fortunately open day we were there. Nice shower.

Disappointing that several notes in the property refer back to the Terms and Conditions. Steering guests based on contractual terms is offensive and rather pathetic. A high price point for the property greeted with a constant reminder that our stay was part of a commercial transaction is sad. Respect your guests. For the price point, there is no excuse for a requirement for customer to put the bins out, with constant threats of charges in the notes posted around the space. Seriously. Ridiculous. Especially taking into account that this information is not clearly stated until arrival. Internet did not work, this is substandard for a property at this price. Everything is the Aldi-inspired. Don’t be fooled by the reviews complimenting the welcome pack, save yourself and spend the full $6.00 at Aldi instead for a bottle of subpar red wine. A genuine embarrassment for the price.

sofa bed is no good for 2 people. The bed upstairs has unstable springs / mattress. one person turning side disturbs the other person. windows did not have fly screens . no fans in the rooms .

Locating the entrance to the building was difficult,it was not through the front door. Rather down the side of the building along a wet dirt driveway to stairs on the side of the building, leading to a door on the first floor. Very much find me if you can?? This was an 18-step staircase, steep with a landing at the top, which was appropriate, as the the outer door was weathered and very difficult to open. If I had known the above information prior to booking this unit I would not have done so. I'm 85 years of age with bad knees so I would have sought the ground floor, not go up and down five times just to settle in. There was no assistance at the facility.

The facilities were nice, neat, clean with every necessity available.

Tiny Apartment, Located at the rear of the building upstairs. There were a few cons with previous reviews, There's definitely Wifi now. But upon arriving 1st day. It worked and the last few days of our stay. It didn't work at all. BBQ there is none unless you book "Georgia", Hair dryer was apparently part of the facilities. There was any. Laundry and Dryer were filthy, filters wasn't cleaned at all. Extra linen - towels & toiletries was great. Apartment is pretty outdated. Apparently is called luxury apartments. The pricing of they stay is average, you can definitely get something better out there for the price you pay.

Location was great, Literally in the middle of heart of the centre. Across the road from IGA, Next door is a Artisan Bakehouse, Few minutes walk to the bar and beaches.

The cooling in the property was very average it was impossible to cool the rooms down, so our stay was unpleasant. Their is room for 6 people to stay but in reality the 3rd bed is just a modular couch that has a fold out Ottoman so is only realy suitable for young children. There isn't room for any form of dinning just a small buffet bar suitable for 3 people. The beds were old and creaky, definitely a long way off luxury accommodation.

The loft looked nice from downstairs, the kitchen and bathroom were nice.
