Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaYou need a car to visit any main attraction on Phillip Island - the resort is quite central though.
Each unit (& there are a lot) is well separated from others by planting & trees. There are a lot of facilities (which we didn't use, staying only 1 night) and a nice walking track.

AustraliaThe shower was very small .. no ceiling fan in the bedroom. I found the marketing push a bit much - during the booking confirmation there was some offer of something if we watched a presentation on arrival. This may appeal to some but not us - but after opting out of all the marketing offers which are all over the registration paperwork they did not follow up or push harder which was great.
Loved the way the cabins were set out on site with a lot of space between each. The cabin itself was well laid out and functional - it had everything we needed. We made use of the BBQ facilities onsite as well.

AustraliaAndy in reception greeted us with open arms. A true gentleman, always willing to help and fantastic customer service. Thank you Andy for making our trip amazing. The chefs in the Pizzeria great customer service and they make the best woodfire pizzas. Would highly recommend these pizzas to everyone. We were in Villa 257 absolutely fell in love with this Villa. The views from the back deck absolutely gorgeous looking over the fields. So peaceful and near the back pools. Walking tracks easy to get around on.

AustraliaMy first impression was that all the decking needed resurfacing and the bottom foot of the cabins needed pressure washing which let the overlook down but that’s all.
Lots of things to do for all. Villa had everything we needed.

GermanyIt is a little bare - I was missing a bit of decoration or any "loving touch". The whole thing is functional yet very basic.
The cabin has what is needed and fulfills its purpose, but it certainly has no charme. From the title "Ramada Resort" I expected a little more than the bare minimum. Nevertheless, the location is very good for exploring Philip Island. Also, it is clean, service is fine, everything works, so nothing substantial to complain about except lack of nice atmosphere.

IrelandNot a complaint at all, just a recommendation. It would be handy to have extra tinfoil to keep the oven clean. It is lined when you get there, but that means that once you use that, you need to throw that away and use it without any, unless you have brought your own.
The villa was bright, clean, comfortable. It was just a few minutes walk to the leisure centre which has an indoor pool for swimming lenghts. There's also a hot tub and a large outdoor pool and another pool to sit in which is smaller, and is heated, and you can turn on the bubbles/jacuzzi whenever you want. Staff were lovely and friendly, and helpful, which I think is absolutely essential for any resort. TV in the sitting room had access to free TV/free movies. They provide tea/coffee/sugar/salt/pepper/washing up liquid. There is a clothes washing machine and dryer and have quick cycles, which is great. It was quiet/well-built. As long as you have a car, it's handy to get around to see the Penguins and Koala Park and the local town. The layout of the villas is a little confusing though.

AustraliaOverall, the apartment was great. However, the flooring was creaky, and the timber floors needed some refurbishment.
The location was great and central to most attractions. Facilities were excellent with a selection of pools, tennis courts, and kids' games rooms. The 2 bedroom apartment was also well appointed.
