Mini bar prices, wait time at check in - staff not aware of check in time and having room available. When checking in at 2:04pm lady on front desk advised room not ready until after 2. Very confusing and then after her checking, it was available.

* Food was too expensive. *Higher tier restaurants and clubs (such as the Golf Club) should have an age restriction of 12 plus - no one wants to enjoy a meal near screaming children. * Appliances in the rooms are very dated - for instance the TVs. At least some Smart TVs could be installed. A microwave would be useful in rooms aswell. Our bar fridge was broken and had missing parts. The AC system was dated and the outdoor unit looked crusty and terrible. The electronic safe didnt work. * Need to Police drink driving. We saw two young guys in their buggy that were so drunk that they could barely string a sentence together and were drooling out of their mouths. Disgusting and criminal.

* Food was fantastic across the board and portion sizes were great * Staff service was world class * Shared facilities (gym, pool, buggy hire) were excellent

The Cocky situation

The swimming Pool was very refreshing, and great location.

The birds can be a lot, don’t leave balcony door open or eat on the balcony as the cockatoos will flock.

The buffet breakfast is definitely worth it, the staff are all so lovely and helpful. The view is incredible!! The hotel has a great free shuttle bus around the island and to the airport. We had the best time.

Big clean rooms, nice views and handy location. Access to beach, pools and restaurants was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Staff at restaurant forgot to bring us 2 mocktails that we ordered before the food at dinner. When we asked the waitress about them we were asked if we still wanted them as we just finished eating. We got them but when I went to pay they were charged twice. At checkout I was asked what we consumed out of the minibar but not mentioned in the last 24h. I told the receptionist what we consumed throughout the whole stay, meaning the first day after our arrival. She charged them again to our room although they appeared automatically after the first day when the bar was replenished. We fixed that before we departed only to get again a phone call from the same receptionist while we were in the airport preparing to fly to ask for my bank card details as she forgot taking them for the refund.

The bathroom is very dated (pretty much original) but it was very clean. It just lets down the room as a whole as the bedroom is upgraded and looks great. The buffet breakfast was good but very busy. Reef hotel guests can go to Sails restaurant on catseye beach which was much quieter.

Love the location, right opposite Catseye beach with easy access to the main pool and hotel pool. We were in a king room on floor 18 so the view was amazing.

The hotel has a musty smell that makes people feel very uncomfortable. We even worry about the effects of inhaling the musty smell

Very damp and mould in the rooms, may be due to the humidity but not what you’d expect for the price. Cleaning of this would be good.

Needed to still take stairs after taking the lift to get to the apartment. Wouldn’t be an issue if you didn’t have loads of bags! Staff at breakfast are seriously under staffed it’s a joke, they’re trying their best but need more people

Spacious apartment. Excellent air con! Very comfortable beds, massive en-suite bathroom. Excellent facilities in the apartment.

The cleaners hardly cleaned, no vacuuming, mould in the bathroom, room has a mouldy smell, carpet was old/worn/dirty. Everything was really overpriced.

The view from our room, the view from the marina, lookout, central location. The gym was great but opening hours were short. Water was beautiful. Scenery was beautiful.
