AustraliaHousekeeping didn’t vacuum the room at all during our stay. Room was in average condition and needing attention. Cabinet hinges broken or rusted, towel rails falling out of fittings to name a few. In general poor upkeep of hotel overall. More needs to be done to rejuvenate the site, especially considering cost of rooms per night, I expected more.

AustraliaThis property gets shabbier and more poorly maintained each time. Curtain was hanging off in our room, bathroom had cracks, breakfast venue was filthy- nobody had swept the floor during service so food detritus everywhere. Staff are not really attentive or trained- asked for water got the water bottle but no glasses, plates leech all over hotel resulting in it’s pecking at them and breaking them. Staff obviously high turnover as backpackers but they are disinterested in the facilities.

United StatesServed a raw hamburger at the bar for lunch. Rooms were early 2000s decor. Hotel was dirty. Carpet in the room was discusting. Chair in room broken and stained. A pair of underwear was visible by the glass elevators and stayed there our entire stay. Very noisy. Every sound in the hall comes right into the room. Every sound from above is heard. Limited seating at the pool. Staff's English is heavily accented and in cases almost unintelligible. Most expensive hotel on our 30 day Austrailian trip and not nearly as nice as most of them. Resturants were understaffed and very slow for lunch and dinner.
The view was incredible. The organization of airport transfers was excellent. The distance to the harbor was perfect. The distance to the beach was great. Breakfast was great. Dinner was good but very slow.

The main room and bathroom were huge, with both a bath and shower. Beds were comfortable and the view wonderful. It did exceed my expectations. My toilet seat broke, but was attended to promptly when notified.

Perfect location walkable to all the points of interest around the island with amazing views from the room. We would definitely stay here again.

United StatesThe "resort" felt like a run down 3-star. The rooms were completely outdated, dirty, and dingy with the housekeeping services not even so much as emptying the trash can or refilling the soap containers. The hotel was not well staffed so there was no daily greetings or just interactions of any sort to make sure you had what you needed and were enjoying your stay. Very little hospitality overall. The whole thing gives 'fend for yourself' vibes.
The room had an ocean view and I particularly loved how the cockatoos enjoyed landing on the balcony.

AustraliaThe hotel and room are poor quality and in desperate need of refurbishment. The blinds in the room did not come together in the middle, allowing the sun to come in early in the morning. The bathroom was large but it looked like it was installed in the 1980s. Breakfast per person was a ridiculous $50/person so we decided to get breakfast foods from the local IGA and have in our room - great value and only $5 each per day! The restaurants on the island are all very expensive.
The view was the only good thing. We were on the 16th floor with a magnificent view over other islands of the Whitsunday's. The sulphur crested cockatoos were lovely birds but unfortunately, far too many of them making noise and mess.
