The staff were bubbly, helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and tidy. The meals at the pub are FANTASTIC! well cooked. Definitely will stay again!

Very basic. Room badly needed renovation, or at least a paint. Cupboards and drwers were falling apart/rot etc and paint peeling from walls and ceiling. Didnt want to go bare-foot in the rooms. Toilet was running full time/leaking. Felt like I was staying in a slum.

Dinner portions were quite small, dinner was expensive for what you got (not value for money), Room was very light so very hard to sleep. Needs block out curtains as the blinds let a lot of light in or turn the outside lights off front and back. Double bed too small. TV remote didn't work and the staff couldn't fix it (needs new remote). Nowhere to hang suits/dresses etc.

Value for money, friendly staff, pet friendly, really nice and tasty dinners, the room catered for five people.

Facilities were poor. Very noisy until late night.

The location was horrible. It is extremely noisy late at night and early in the morning with workers coming and going and stomping down the stairs right near the main bedroom. The carpark for the room was never available and I told a worker who didn't care at all. It was a great room but the location is super noisy.

The beds were really comfortable and the room was a good size for the price. The room was clean.

I did not stay - 1 look inside and the overpowering smell Of cheap artificial lavender bathroom cleaner nearly made me sick The room was So small you couldn’t escape This smell The only positive: The staff were polite and when I gave the key back they offered a Refund without having to ask

The room was basically in the beer garden Tables and pool table almost at room entry. Walls are fibro asbestos sheeting with no lining. With people playing pool and drinking in the beer garden it was like having them all in your room. I’ve never seen anything like it. I was booked in for two nights but left with a night to go.

Undercover parking not suitable for large SUV too low

We stayed in room number 22 , family room . Beds where comfortable with clean crispy white sheets . Bathroom was also clean . We are not fussy travellers so for the price , this was an excellent value . Location was good and central . Check in at the bar and staff was friendly

The rooms front onto an outdoor area with a pool table and seating for drinkers and smokers. Unfortunately, this makes the room a bit noisy and open to problems from drinkers. Annoyingly, this happened to us, when an extremely drunk and angry guest, staying in the room next to us, was shrieking and screaming that he was going to kill someone. Despite people trying to calm him down, directly outside our room, the animal-like screaming continued until finally the police arrived. Their conversation with the extremely intoxicated guest continued outside our room until finally they got him to stop. The next morning he got up early to apparently go to work. It was a pretty frightening drama which fortunately did not result in physical violence. I would NOT recommend this place for a family or females. The behaviour of the young male is not necessarily the fault of the pub but you have to wonder how he became so extremely intoxicated on licensed premises. Friendly staff but would not stay again.

It was cheap and on the main road so convenient and easy to find.

The room opened to a beer garden and back kitchen area. The beer garden was loud and filled with inappropriate people. At 2am we had men fighting and smashing on our door and windows. The room did not feel safe or secure - on a snib lock - and no screen on the bathroom window. The back kitchen area was filled with boxes that smelt like rotten food - flies and bugs everywhere at the door. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom and due to being unable to open the window it was disgusting in the bathroom. The gates entering the beer garden were not locked or secured at closing so men were hanging around in the beer garden until all hours. There were no visible security cameras. When I went to the bar to ask for help or another room - there was nothing available. The staff were understanding and kind but just recommended to call the police if it happened again. I think the problem is that the room was not advertised as so exposed and unsafe - if we knew this - we wouldn’t have booked it.

The price was affordable.
