The tv didn't get reception well at all (I suspect it may need a different cable possibly), the tap dripped, and my daughter hurt her foot on a loose nail on the verandah (not badly). A maintenance man may need to do minor repairs. Otherwise it was perfect :).

It was a great place to stay, with a close drive to the vineyard we were attending a wedding at. The price was great too. I liked that the beds were separated, with an extra room, which worked well with our family.

The room really needs a reno, the bathroom was smelly like a dirty drain, no flyscreens in the bathroom so cant open the window, skirting boards in the room rotting and mouldy and bit too close to the beer garden. One staff member was quite rude. We chose to drive 10 hours home rather than spend a second night.

The pub itself was quite nice and meals were good. The price was also cheap

The fact that the room was pretty much in the beer garden! If I had known this, I wouldn't have booked it. I assumed it would be upstairs above the club like most pub rooms. A friend also booked here, but her room (shared bathroom) was much further away from the beer garden, and she had no issues with noise. As a single female traveller, i was a little concerned with the location, and the noise was more than a bit loud, given I was just a few metres away from the pool table.

The price was excellent for a 1 night stay.

Where do I start? We had to ask to change rooms because the noise of the air compressor running, it was so loud you couldn't ignore it. They gave us a new room, and the noise of that room was the same or worse than the first one, needless to say we didn't sleep a wink. The double bed was WAY too small for the average couple these days. There was NO mirror in the room to even brush hair. The light under the door was so bright I had to try to block it out with pillows!

There were holes in the skirting board, paint flaking in the bathroom, blinds were filthy and maybe even mouldy, cockroach crawling on bed and found in bags after returning home to VIC, shower head was brown, bathroom sink was cracked, we were roomed in the beer garden when we had two children in the booking so it was quite loud at night when putting them to sleep. Wouldn’t recommend for families.

The staff were lovely and the room was tidied when we had the sign out.
