The shower ran out if hot water quicker than hoped for. Having said that if you don't have 29 minute showers it's all good!

The most amazing spot on top of the hill, overlooking Port arthur and the surrounding Valley. It was gorgeous.

Owners Kim and Rod were very welcoming and Rod showed us their cows, including a 3 day old calf and a friendly Highland cow plus the stunning views. Gorgeous historic cottage.

The so called continental breakfast ,all we got was 6 slices of bread wrapped up in plastic small ok of jam ,p/ butter honey and v/mite and butter and a note saying you got enough for a beautiful breakfast.

Nothing except the road up to Rubys Cottage.

This was a lovely little cottage, it had everything that we needed including the makings for breakfast. The view from the top of the hill was spectacular, the animals were all very friendly. Our host was very entertaining and knowledgeable. It was the perfect place to base ourselves while we explored the Port Arthur peninsular.

Lovely little cottage with amazing views over the bay, part of a working farm so surrounded by animals and nature. The owner was really friendly and gave us lots of info about the area and showed us around the farm.

we loved the local knowledge from the hosts! The cottage was amazing, warm and cozy a nice break from the hotel rooms. A friend and I stayed here for one night and enjoyed dinner at the Port Arthur Motor Inn

The view and the friendliness of the owner, Rod was awesome. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, we had a fire in the firepit area and popped up to top of the hill to see if we could spot an aurora, no luck but exceptional view of the stars above.

Lovely cabin - it’s about 100 years old. Was very comfortable for two couples - so peaceful and quiet with great views up the hill on the property. Owner Rod took us for a walk to meet his Highland cows and his sheep.

wifi didn’t work but it had very good mobile phone coverage. Didn’t disturb owners about wifi as wasn’t a priority.

If staying longer than one night a small dining table would be good.

Good to have breakfast supplies and a nice welcome with a bottle of wine. Good communication with the hosts. Thanks for walk to see highland cows.

Ruby’s cottage was wonderful. We only spent a night there but wished we had longer. Rod was great and we especially enjoyed walking up to visit the cows and see the great outlook.
