Food options were poor. The a la carte restaurant only offered a buffet for $69 of which half the options were desserts and the rest of the offerings were underwhelming. All 4 of us walked out very disappointed and kindly advised our waitress and she said they are getting lots of complaints. It would have been nice if they supplied free biscuits with your cuppa in the room like 99% of hotels do! The hotel is looking very dated and needing some TLC. With the expense of 4 nights accommodation I could have gone to Bali for a week and had a much better experience!

You didn’t do price match. Pattern from your company with not paying refer a friend and then making it so hard to do the price match. I try my hardest to not book through your site. This is my last option due to the problems I have had.

The restaurant down stair can be better... nachos was just a bunch of mince, corn chips, avocados and cream put together. Can put a bit more flavor to each elements. Stake was not bad though and the local beer was nice!

pool was awesome, breakfast was really nice - all you can eat smash avo and benedicts and all. Staff were superb. The ladies at the kids club really enjoyed looking after children. Thanks for a good holiday!

We stayed one night and ate in the restaurant next to the main pool around 8.30pm, we were very disappointed with the two male waiters who obviously were bored and were completely unfriendly. It costs nothing to smile, nothing to say hello guys can I take your plates or have you finished your drink, nope they just walked up and took one plate and walked away, not a word, took a glass with drink still in it, we had to ask him to return it to the table. Rudeness should not be tolerated and should be called out. Lucky we remained polite. This was after we noticed that our salt and pepper squid was ready to be delivered, after we heard the bell twice and could see it sitting on the shelf, only to be told it was not for us, then a discussion between the chef and another waiter and waved my arm saying hello it ours.

First of all, the bed duvet was too dusty, and the old carpet and sofa had no choice but to smell bad when I first entered the room. I wish the pool water was cleaner.

There were various things to enjoy in the accommodation, so the whole family was satisfied. Swimming pool, sauna, golf, massage, etc. The lodging was spacious and the kitchen was tidy.

The food at the bar and grill restaurant was awful and need to request for a refund of a particular dish. However, in general, all the food taste bad. Please eat at the level two restaurant if you need to dine in.

It was extremely busy and overpriced due to the air show and a huge concert on.

The facilities are really fantastic for a hotel 2 hours away. Kids club, pools, gym, sauna, tennis, kangaroos in the vineyard, a golf course - you name it, this hotel has most of it! Having stayed at the Hunter many times, It’s a really great option. We will definitely be back.
