Very pricey for the rooms I feel like they could do something to make the rooms a bit more modern for the cost.
Rydges is really great for a young family with the pool, water play area, games room, meal options, buffet breakfast and train rides. The location is also very convenient and right near the wildlife sanctuary we visited during our stay!

My kids are terrified of the zombie game in the games room. The breakfast is fantastic but too expensive for a family of 5
Hotel facilities are great for the kids, the pool and splash park entertained them all day.

It was a shame to see there was food and beverage service at the main pool but not at the adults only pool.
We had a wonderful time. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was lovely from the breakfast buffet to the restaurant and room service was all fantastic.

Very dated! Hasn’t changed since being crown plaza! Bed very uncomfortable! Awful pillows! All lumpy and different shapes!

The chair in our room was very stained and looked disgusting. Surprised that we had to line up and wait to have breakfast on Saturday morning. Things had run out eg hash browns and some of the other foods were not hot. We had room service and the garlic bread and chips were stone cold, very disappointing.
The restaurant was good and staff very friendly. Very good coffee for breakfast.

The room is dusty, the television set is very old, and the bed is too soft. It would be great to check and maintain the cleanliness of the room, as it is very challenging for a person with dust and mites allergies like myself.
I like the outdoors and the open-air area. The rooms/apartments are designed not too close to each other so there are fresh air circulation, good amount of sunlight, and open green environment

property was good other than the plumbing issue, there was water on bathroom floor all the time which wasn’t a very comfortable experience when using the bathroom

Lovely big apartment for our group of 5. Clean, comfortable and great location. Great facilities including golf and pool. We dined in thr main restaurant in the evening and the menu was quite extensive and the food was delicious.

The staff, we came in contact with, didn't smile or show any emotion. The lady on check-in, as our first point of contact, didn't want to be there on the day. She didn't explain what was at the hotel, the facilities, how breakfast/dinner worked or anything. The only smile from any staff member came from housekeeping staff. The pools are also not heated, not a deal breaker but also not pleasant. The hotel could also use a bit of a reno in the bathrooms, showing their age a bit.
The facilites available at the Rydges are fantastic. The pools, sauna, tennis courts, gym, running trails are the only ones like it in the area.

the pillows were ridiculously soft and the roof top view from my room 262...this obstruction was not Mentioned when booking I thought it was too cheap ... perhaps warn people that the view is a tin roof ... despite this it was a nice stay 🙂

There was an event and it was extremely loud outside our window when we had to wake up at 3am for our hot air balloon flight. Understand these things happen but we were disappointed that we hadn't received any communication form the hotel prior or any compensation for the disruption.

There was a guest who left their golf clubs at the parking spot for days so that no one can park next to their car. I was charged for bottles of beer when we never went to the bar on the day of purchase and none of us drink alcoholic beverages. Good thing the receptionist checked and waived it as I will not be paying for someone else’s booze.
