The waterplay area wasn't managed by a staff member. There's too many silly people and poor parenting to leave it unattended. Kids that were playing dangerously and running up the water slides should be asked to leave.

The hotel was comfortable, the were friendly and helpful and made Australia Day special. The food was really good. The facilities and kids areas were fantastic. Overall a great place in a great location. I would definitely recommend to stay.

the villas need serious upgrades. there was a terrible musty smell in the villa, even the kids noticed it. enough to turn us off from staying in a villa next time. the tvs are outdated and poor- the screen is blurred, there is no smart tv connectivity (Netflix,YouTube etc) like other hotels offer. the sofa chairs are stained and old and not suitable for a family. our villa only had 4 armchairs- no actual sofa. the bathroom basin tap in our villa needs to be replaced- water goes everywhere.

the buffet breakfast is delightful. especially the egg station and the Vittoria coffee station. the pools are great for the kids. the 24hr gym is great. location is perfect.

we stayed the first night out in one of the apartments 703, and the damp smell in the corridor to the apartment was so strong. The adult only pool had no where near to get a drink during the day meaning you had to go the full way around down to the bar or else walk through the gym.

The villa lacks design and style. Very basic room with mediocre amenities. The carpet looks old and has lots of stains. The AC control panel of our Villa has some issues. It seems like the airflow and rooms connecting is wrong. Overpriced for such a mediocre room. I paid over $1300 for one night. I feel disappointed for this price.

Very good size of the 3-bedroom villa. Water park is nice. Buffet Breakfast is great as expected. Nice and helpful staff.

Very slow check in. We waited over an hour Guests reserving pool lounges — the sign is not a deterrent. This needs to be enforced by staff.

For the room rate price, could you please offer some simple biscuits in the rooms, along with hot chocolate and decaf coffee sachets. If Best Western can you it, Crowne can. Also can you please supply some FIRM pillows. Not all of us like soft pillows with no neck support. The paint work in the room (around doors, etc.), bathrrom decor, etc. is very dated. It might have been a 5 star hotel 20 years ago, but it doesn't meet that criteria any more. Next time I would book into the Mercure, or the newer Greg Norman resort that we checked out today.

We stayed at the Crowne as it is the pick up spot foe Beyond Ballooning. We like the separate buildings and rooms around the grounds. Thw full breakfast after Ballooning was delicious and the staff attentive. If you are a golfer, I'm sure you'd appreciate the Crowne.

The fridge was too small for a villa with 3 bedrooms. We could only connect 3 or 4 devices to the WiFi at a time. Mobile phone reception in the villa was questionable. Also we couldn't connect our own devices via HDMI to the TV to watch our own media players.

Staff were kind, friendly and helpful. Location was close to everything, shops, restaurants and wineries.

The prices over the holiday season were steep including a 15% surcharge.

There were plenty of facilities for a long stay.

One of the blanket cover with 3 large marks which is unacceptable. By the time we noticed the marks, all housekeeper have left work. There is a guy from concierge changed the cover for us. thanks mate !

The daily activities offers to kids are very good, the concierge staff are the best when I need assistance no matter day or night. The breakfast buffet are one of the best in Australia.
