How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The beds were extremely comfortable but the rooms were dated and need a refresh. For the price we expected a little more. The lobby bar was a good alternative for dinner as our dinner experiences were all cancelled due to weather. Many staff were new and very inexperienced.

Disappointed in the choice of restaurants. The main restaurant was a buffet and quite expensive. The bar had a good menu but finished at 5.30pm which was crazy. The only option then was walk to the square to eat where there was a takeaway shop and a pizza restaurant. Just felt for a hotel of this standard there should be another restaurant option that wasn’t $100 a head.

The breakfast buffet option was very expensive- 44AUD pp
Large and comfortable rooms with powerful but quiet air conditioning to keep cool. Calm and relaxed vibe. A nice lawn and enough sunbeds to chill by the pool under the gum trees.

Would be good to have some renovation - resort is in good conditions but you can tell is a bit old. For this price, we would expect a bit better conditions. Food in the swimmingpool restaurant and in the main restaurant is good, a bit pricy but what we did not like is the waiting time - almost 1h for burger and salad at the swimmimg pool and quite long time in the main restaurant with the mixed up bill in the end. Staff was friendly, helpful and tried to solve the problems asap.
Very good loction. Resort provides free of charge transfers and coach sp you can easily get to other parts of the resort. Staff is very friendly.

Being told at checkout, my gold Accor plus card discounts for food and drinks did not apply as I had to present the card everytime opposed to linking it to our room, so missing out on up to 50% discounts. This is a cashless facility but you are expected to carry the accor card at all times even if charging to your room where the card is linked

STAFF IS HORRIBLE VERY RUDE. just the girl dy who sells in the shop is nice and a girl who helped us at midnight to fix the AC. the completly staff hotel is horrible.

The balcony on the room could have been cleaner, the seat cushions had definitely seen better days. The room itself however was lovely.
Comfortable bed and great shower. Plenty of towels and toiletries too .Appreciated the milk in the fridge left for us. We enjoyed the buffet dinner in the hotel each evening which was exceptionally good. The staff were welcoming and helpful.

At the check-out, I could not pay with debit cards, had to pay with a credit card and pay the surcharge. Finding a parking spot may be a challenge. Service OK.
Very comfortable beds. Convenient room design. Restaurants are available at the resort. The resort restaurant opens for breakfast early enough to undertake most activities in the area (but not for driving to Kings Canyon). Good outdoor restaurant for dinner as an alternative to the buffet dinner at the indoor restaurant.

The dinner availability after 8pm was limited, and the pool bar cocktails were too. A La Carte should be in the main restaurant for breakfast and dinner The the queue at the reception desk was often long.
The room was spacious and comfortable and the quality toiletries, and the cheese and water in the fridge.
