The floors were a bit dirty, our feet were black after a shower and walking around in the room. Had to wipe them with wet wipes before getting into bed!

Samphire is a fantastic hotel. The rooms are well-equipped, spacious and comfortable. It’s a very short walk from the bike hire and the centre of the little town on Rottnest. We didn’t have time to use it, but the pool area looked nice too. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. All in all, this is a great, if fairly expensive place to book if you plan to stay on Rottnest overnight.

Upstairs there were some tiles that looks new and not properly grouted yet, so they felt a bit loose to walk on

The luxurious feel of the Samphire made our stay and experience in itself. Yes, the price may be on the higher end, but with how great the staff are, how modern, neat and tidy the rooms are, how amazing the pool area is, it’s a valid price point. It’s such a convenient spot right by the main beach and restaurants, making dinner and drinks easy before rolling into bed. It honestly feels like a mini resort holiday from our actual holiday on the island

Stained duvet, however, this was changed very promptly. For the price, breakfast should be included.

Beautiful hotel in a wonderful position right next to the beach. Spacious room and balcony. General cleanliness very good. Great restaurant and very pleasant and helpful staff.

had to remind housekeeping to tidy the room late in the day for two days. they did this and we were pleased with the cleaning. The ocean swimming in front of the hotel is limited but we did find a small beach about 1 kilometer walk from the hotel. The swimming was excellent.

Almina was very helpful in completing arrangements for us.

Could not pick luggage up from ferry, had to lug suitcases ourselves , approx 10 minutes. Elderly folk could not do it. Quokka poos not cleaned up around bar areas, could slip in it very easily and incur nasty injury.

Staff could be a little more accommodating. Wanted to upgrade to a oceanfront room at quite an expense but had to check out of old room by 10am and couldn’t check back in till 3pm. Staff couldn’t offer a late checkout or have the new room ready any earlier apparently., ( our stay was mid week) Not very flexible seeing as you are already a paying guest.

Not too much to fault, room could be better with a microwave and the coffee cup was a little too small for a full size coffee but overall nothing to complain about.

The way the hotel is set up it’s very easy to find your way around and is very clean and modern with beautiful room to stay in and landscaping around the pool area was beautiful

Its location on the coast whilst remaining private. The private yoga classes were amazing

Most beautiful hotel! Room was very spacious and well presented. We had a beautiful view of the pool from the balcony. The hotel facilities were beautiful and staff went out of their way to help with anything and everything! We also loved the guest experiences and thought the wine tasting was fantastic and great value
