Front of hotel looked old and not looked after. One store front closed in front of hotel. David was great and helpful. Hotel needs a full makeover to compete with other hotels or stays. Probably would look for other accommodation next time we visit.

Room itself was a little tired but clean enough. Not soundproof. Hotel reception, rooftop, pool area, reception, outside areas were VERY rundown and quite dirty and unkept. Businesses at front of hotel are shut down and derelict. Free outdoor parking.

Staff were very friendly (if unprofessional). Location is A1. Price is right. Pool was clean and well maintained.

Town seems a little flat, a few closed businesses, renovations etc. To be expected, I guess given cost of living pressures.

Pet friendly, the whole of Palm Cove seems to be Pet friendly.

A couple of small things missing from our room, (teaspoons, washing up necessities) but no drama really, the staff provided them promptly upon request) and some parts of the room need maintenance (skirting boards need repair and paint, courtyard could do with some TLC), but overall it was really good. This was our third stay.

Fantastic location in the heart of Palm Cove near the restaurants and shops, and across the road from the beach! Great to be able to bring our two dogs along for a short holiday. Room is a great size. Bed is huge and comfy. The pool on the roof is very nice.

Somewhat too much to maintain for the staff working at the time there it seamed, common areas on top of hotel has soo much potential, with roof pool and many sunbeds/tables/chairs but not cosy decorated, nor clean. Got a feeling this hotel was recovering from post covid /cyclone effects still.

Location, mid beach, on the esplanade. We upgraded from a base floor apartment which none of them have any view at all, to a nice apartment on 2nd floor, with nice balcony towards beach with table/chairs for evening drinks. AC/Aircon in living room and bedroom was lovely. Staaf was super helpful and friendly.

Door to bathroom when you opened and shut it made a sticking sound so it woke the other person up. Also it was like daylight the whole time at night as the door was smaller than the door frame and let the lights in on all four sides

No lift Not really a problem for us as we were on the ground floor. A lot of steps to the pool

The whole property was almost derelict: closed down restaurant and bar area.

Firstly the only dog friendly room they have is a budget room which i knew but to say they are dog friendly but they don't allow dogs on the bed.

The rooftop balcony area could have had more seating & tables to cater for eating with the fabulous view & would have been good if our dog could have had an area set aside near the swimming pool.

The location was excellent in the middle of the esplanade & our dog friendly room was very clean & spacious. The rooftop pool was a lovely size

The only issue was the fridge was iced up so I turned don’t he thermostat and then it defrosted overnight…it was only a minor thing..I would love to see the bar at the entrance up and running again, it looks beautiful

Almost everything was great! We didn’t get to visit the top deck though because we didn’t have time, but we will next time :)
