I Love the Sarayi Boutique Hotel. We have stayed there several times. This was my first time staying there on my own but it did not disappoint. Love the central location. Love the large rooms. Love the reasonable room rates.

The room was not entirely clean as there was still some grit on the floor and the side tables looked like they needed a wipe. The bed was quite firm, but surprisingly I slept well. There was no mattress topper on the bed, so you could feel the bump where the single beds were joined. It wasn't an issue for me, but if I'd had a partner, it would have been. It would have been good if they had pressure sprayed the dust off tables and chairs at the back courtyard area you get with the dog friendly rooms. It would have been nice to sit there with my breakfast. The light outside the room was quite bright at night, some curtains are needed as well as the blinds don't do a lot. And to top it off, my shower ran out of hot water mid-way through, no hot water came out even when I had completely turned off the cold. Pretty pricey too for what it is.

The room was spacious, with a large built-in wardrobe. There was a kettle and toaster in the room which was great. And being on the Esplanade, the location was fantastic.

Not enough parking spaces. Was a fair distance to bring in suitcases from your car to the room.

Fantastic location on the main strip right across from the beach. Very accommodating, were moved into a more suitable (bedding wise) room quickly and without hassle.

We were lucky to run into a staff member as we arrived to check us in. Didn't see anyone at the office again. No opportunity to get pool towels. Which had a $3 hire fee. The apartment was reasonably clean but had a tile on wall over shower covered in pubic hairs. That was very disappointing. The upstairs rooms are only accessible by stairs. Pool is rooftop so must be able to make way up stairs to access pool. The bedroom was small but modern. Lots of pillows supplied. The blind was not block out so room very light early in morning unfortunately. Could do with a curtain too. The bed was not comfortable quite hard so both woke up sore.

Loved the location on the beach front of Palm Cove. The one bedroom with spa was lovely room with a nice sized lounge and kitchen. Modern. Nice view from balcony. The pool was cool and over looking the mountains at rear of property.

Charged a $200 bond which we still haven’t received 3 days after check out despite being reassured it was released the day we departed. I don’t know why but this always happens when I have to pay a bond so I don’t blame the hotel directly, it’s just a super frustrating process because I have to chase it up. $200 also seemed pretty steep considering the room rate was only about $140 and we found food in the fridge from previous guests.

We’d booked another property in Palm Cove for the week but needed an overnight stay somewhere close by the night before due to a very late flight so Sarayi was just perfect for that. Staff really friendly and efficient, easy after hours check in process. We were called to let us know we’d accidentally left a pillow behind - thank you!

Property could use an update, and the pool area is in desperate need of at least some shade - pool was almost unusable due to heat/sun for most of the day.

Great location and pleasant staff. The rooftop area was great for a drink and a bite and a drink in the sea breeze.
