Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Lovely breakfast provided with orange juice and milk plus little treats and fruit as well. Such a peaceful and beautiful place to stay we wish we could have stayed longer. The only thing I would add is a clock by the bed.
Everything was thought of for our comfort. The food in the fridge and the fruit all very fresh.

There is very little to dislike. TV is free-to-air (no cable channels) and we turned it off after it went blank with a "no signal" message several times.
Very nice continental breakfast offerings in the unit including fresh eggs, fruit, yoghurt, muesli etc are very handy, especially for car travellers. It is a very nicely appointed, modern, smallish unit with great privacy in a very quiet garden setting. Built-in under a brick home in a quiet leafy suburban cul-de-sac. Close to lovely beach scenery. It is ideal as a comfortable over-night rest stop on the drive between Brisbane and Sydney. John was a friendly welcoming host.

Delightful B&B! Tastfully decorated, modern and very clean. Nice cosy little lounge room which is very comfortable. Ultra clean bathroom with everything you need. Located in a cul de sac and 3 minutes drive from the lighthouse. Great value as it is more of a complete, well furnished unit vs a small hotel room! Highly recommended! John is a pleasant and friendly host!!

There was some noise transfer from the main residence above but it really wasn’t annoying. The access from the prescribed parking place on the street was across a soggy lawn due to some wet weather at the time.
Very clean & tidy. Had all the appliances & utensils needed for a comfortable stay. Plenty of entertainment for rainy days such as board games, books, cd’s & tv. Generous continental breakfast offerings to choose from. Inclusions show a great attention to detail by the hosts to make the guest’s stay comfortable.

sensor light outside our bedroom kept coming on throughout the night, woke me several times. if staying longer would have liked a single hot plate to boil eggs etc.

Not a dislike, but a bbq for use by guests located outside in the courtyard would have been great
Beautifully appointed B & B unit located a short walk from the beach and lighthouse. The hosts were friendly, helpful and met us both on arrival and departure. Everything from the breakfast provisions, bathroom inclusions, information and recommendations regarding the local area, cafe's, restaurants and nearby walks was first rate. There were many little extra touches that other accommodation providers do not include such as picnic provisions and a throw over blanket in the loungeroom for those cold nights when watching telly. The bed was extremely comfortable too. We will definitely return in the future and loved our stay.
