Knives needed sharpening but that's not unusual as most places we go they need sharpening .

Lovely clean well equipped unit . Very close to the beach .Hosts were just a phone call away if needed .

We had friendly, helpful and prompt contact with the owners when needed. Serene Beachside Apartment is a lovely little apartment that was clean, well stocked with supplies and very comfortable. It was in a quiet location with easy access to cafes and the beach. We felt right at home the moment we walked in the door.

Clean and very impressed that they left a block of Lindt chocolate and I enjoyed the whole lot of it. Sorry hubby didn’t get one piece. Very comfy and love the chair and otterman in lounge area.

A perfect spot to get away and relax; if you want to be in the middle of things, maybe it's not for you. A hassle-free street parking but not covered (which may be a problem in inclement weather). Two minor things: the large wall clock stopped at 5:30 - maybe on purpose to make you 'travel beyond time' but it made me confused a few times. And one light on the balcony does not work. It depends on what kind of a holiday you like, we will be back:)

A wonderful upstairs apartment (very private) in a beach house in a family-oriented, non-touristy community. Beautifully appointed (the owners thought of everything). Less than 10min walk to an uncrowded beach, a master-planned community with multiple bike/walking paths, a lake and tons of greenery. 2 fantastic cafes and a seafood restaurant 5min walk, shopping strip with IGA, pharmacy, bottle shop and a few eateries 10min drive.

Clean, serene, quiet, easy access to the beach and local amenities, well equipped. Hosts were so wonderful and kind, easy to contact if we needed anything and very responsive

I found the bed a degree too firm, only because of a bad back and not to do with the quality of the bed.

Great location. The apartment is well equipped and has all you’d need for a short trip. A short stroll to the beach and very accessible to other Sunshine Coast attractions. Marcoola is a lovely spot for a getaway. A few local restaurants and cafes are worth supporting. Hosts were very attentive.

Quiet delightful location. Hosts had thoughtfully planned nice touches in regard to information; some base cooking ingredients; great beach towels etc. Very short stroll along beautiful boardwalk to the beach.

We loved our stay! The location was great. 3 min walk to the beach and near shops. The apartment is very clean and well maintained, everything was well thought of. The hosts prepared a very comprehensive guide and are very prompt in their replies. They were also very kind to let us have an early checkin and late checkout. Will definitely be back for sure!

When I was booking my sunshine coast trip my criteria was an idyllic location and accommodation that was self contained, well equipped, clean, in a quiet spot, safe and close to the beach. Serenity was all those things. A really cute apartment where the hosts have clearly considered the user experience...right down to the provision of gowns and even an actual espresso coffee machine (no Nescafe sachets:).

The apartment was in a quiet suburb a short walk from the beach and restaurants. The owners left detailed instructions and suggestions and were very communicative.

The pillows were too big and not soft enough for me. I thought they were more suitable for a man. Having said that I am petite in height and weight so that is often an issue when I am travelling.

The location was wonderful for me as I like to walk. I have friends who live on the Sunshine Coast and drove me to a supermarket on two occasions. If you don't have friends to help out you would need a car but the location is so lovely that hiring a car is worth the experience of holidaying in Marcoola.

The one teeny tiny thing is shower can be quite slippery . A non slip mat would be helpful.

Property was just as described. Even better than the pics. Spotlessly clean with everything you could need in a home away from home. Hosts were extremely kind and just a phone call away. I was a little hesitant to book as there is no parking on-site however it was really easy to park on the street, right outside the property. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to have the opportunity to book again soon. Deb 🌸

The apartment was spotless, roomy, with nice decor. Owners supplied everything you needed to ensure a great stay. Comfortable bed, divine bathroom products, kitchen/laundry well set up for longer stays. Having the use of bikes was a real plus. Very handy to beach, shops, eateries etc. Migali and Jeffrey are very helpful hosts with great communication.
