Responsiveness was lacking. The email from Booking.com contained a contact for issues who took >8hrs to respond, although we found a different contact in the guidebook at the property who took a couple of hours to respond. Compared to other places we've stayed the coffee pods/jam/honey etc was lacking - perfect for a one-night stay but we'd booked for 3 nights...

Location was great - short drive to town, across the road from the beach. The grassy field and birds kept my daughter fully occupied. It was also great to sit in the jacuzzi and relax after a long day of walking

Didn't realize how close we were to a main road. The traffic was noisy at times and not very private when hopping in and out of the jacuzzi. Also, a shelter over the jacuzzi would have been great as it rained a lot while we were there.

Loved the open fire and jacuzzi. Recliner lounge was also very comfortable and relaxing. Nice and close to town and the beach. Was nice to hear the ocean from inside and out.

Personally the beds are a little on the soft side for my own preference, but still enjoyed a comfortable and spacious sleep.

Beautiful property, great views. All the comforts of home in a modern beach/country feel. The spa, plumbed fridge with ice and water, recliners added the touch of luxury to our anniversary getaway. We really enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave. The multifunction of the generous kitchen island hosted many puzzles and relaxing activities. Loved the location right across from the marine sanctuary.

The property was not cleaned properly. There was a dead cockroach and centipedes in the bathroom, along with hair and other collections of dirt and I’m not sure what else on the floor that a simple vacuum would have made a big difference. However, if it wasn’t vacuumed then it also makes me question if other cleaning was appropriately performed. I hope it was just the vacuuming that was overlooked. As I have a young baby who crawls along the floor and puts things in his mouth, it concerned me throughout the stay. There were also a lot of cobwebs and a couple of spiders in the property.

Jacuzzi, fireplace with recliners, location were all amazing. The grounds were beautiful and my son loved running over the grass, playing on the playground and looking at ducks by the pond. it was a lovely getaway for our birthday.

- spa was broken on arrival - spa needed filling up for the one working jet to work, I had to put water in myself then the spa was unusable for the first night because it wasn’t hot - thick dust under beds in bedrooms - dirt and grime on surfaces - cob webs coming off ceilings - doors not structurally secure (difficult to lock and weak old doors) - host ignored when we required help with broken spa

It is a bit squashy in the living room with the dining area being an extension to the island bench. But to be honest we spent most of our time out or outside of which there is plenty of room and seating so it wasn't an issue

The location is fantastic, only 5 minutes drive from Apollo Bay and beach access directly across the road. It also has its own little dam, playground and grass area to hang out at.

Perhaps a coat hanger in every room. Good for a small family as there was only one bathroom.

Very clean, exceptional appliances, modern decor as seen in pictures. The instructions were clear and detailed. Fireplace was wonderful in the cold weather with lots of firewood provided. Jacuzzi , bbq and board games were good to have! There was also leftover cooking condiments which was thoughtful. The location was also awesome- 5 mins to town and beach/pier. There was also a wonderful playground and pond within the compound.

Wonderful house with everything you would need for your stay & less than 5 min to town. Lovely decor, clean and comfortable with the bonus of a hot tub. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay & would highly recommend the property to friends & family. Thank you!

The bedroom with the two single beds had not been vacuumed or dusted. There were items on the floor and there was a lot of dust under the beds and the bedhead. This was vacuumed because we couldn't wait until the next morning to have it cleaned. We were looking forward to using the jacuzzi but the water in it was dirty and there was sand on the bottom. The glass enclosure was covered with cobwebs. We couldn't use the outdoor furniture because it was covered with bird droppings.

The location was great. It was only a few steps to the beach and so close that you could hear the waves from the house. You can see the sunrise standing on the back porch so this was fantastic. Even though we didn't get time to cook, the kitchen facilities were excellent. The lounge area was very comfortable as were the beds.

We paid to use the iaguzzi spa and we found it broken upon arrival. Same for the dishwasher. Despite us calling the owners Karen and Alex straight away they did not send anyone to check for the utilities. I found extremely disappointing that they first agree to issue us a refund and then stopped message us all at once. They ruined our 5 yrs anniversary...we booked the house 1 yr ago and it was extremely disappointing.

The house seems to be built on a tilted land, it makes me feel a bit dizzy like stepping in those illusionary display and takes a while to adapt.

The house decor is aesthetic, loves the candles and giant mirror. The house is not too big, but makes it cozy and comfortable for a family road trip. The woodfire heating is a plus, and the hot spa tub is superb.

We were a bit dizzy at first as the floor has dropped in some areas. It has been perfectly renovated to reflect this however and we soon got used to it.

We loved everything! The spa, very comfortable king size bed, fireplace, reclining chairs, beautiful view, peaceful and private, amazing shower with great pressure! Styled beautifully.
