An excellent and pleasant experience staying at Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Port Douglas. We initially booked garden view through Flight Centre, without breakfast and free cancellation, as we found out this wasn’t the case, flight centre changes a service fee, $100 for cancellation (small print) I stilled saved money from booking with booking dot com which had the room and breakfast included. Lesson learnt to continue using booking.com. The facilities at Sheraton are second to none and staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. You could just spend half a day deciding what pool to swim in. The walks on 4 mile beach at sunrise and sunset are spectacular. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast is unreal and the chefs are very friendly and accommodating for requests.

The rooms have shutters that are fully open or fully closed. would be good to be able to open but still have privacy maybe fine curtain when shutters open allow you to see out but they cant see in. Buffet breakfast at Feast could have had more options for the price

Having to pay for food to be delivered in your room when ordering from room service. Room service send wrong food and charged for it! Also, there’s this little cabanas that you can book but also have to pay for it. The room overall is clean but the details show how the place needs a spring clean. The pillows are awful!

The pools are great, big and always getting clean. The housekeeping staff is fantastic, friendly and helpful. Manager at front desk also very helpful and friendly.

It’s no secret this place is extremely expensive. We enjoyed our stay, but at almost $700 a night we don’t believe it was worth that. Considering you could stay somewhere cheaper closer to town and use your savings to have fine dining meals each night. The pool area is lovely but busy (and we were there off peak!) the Cabanas are $150 a day to book. Overall we love this place but likely won’t return due to the extreme cost.

This place is spectacular, the rooms are comfy and the staff are excellent. The various dining options are stunning and the food is second to none. We were lucky with a pool access room with its own small beach and lagoon

The staff at breakfast buffet her name is Brenda was very unpleasant! Our first breakfast initially we wants to stay inside but then see the rain stops so asked if we can sit outside n she said OMG with a very annoying face! The waiter n waitress there got smiles on the face but the front desk was so unfriendly. It's coincidence I heard other table raised same opinion

Housekeeping service was confusing with the do not disturb light. Cleaners took pool towels but did not replace them. Some things were definitely overpriced. Need more mocktail options that aren't just juices mixed together.

Buffet breakfast was great and so were the pool facilities.

I would have liked a sunset bar for cocktails that was outdoors and by the pool. The pool bar closed for sunset. The choice was an indoor bar or an outdoor restaurant.I chose the restaurant because I wanted to be outside for sunset but it wasn’t ideal and then I felt locked in for dinner. Also the pool bar is in full sun in the afternoon - not ideal location so I never made it to any bar which was disappointing.

We loved our stay at and had a lovely, relaxing holiday which is what was needed. The only downside was losing an item of clothing left in the wardrobe of our room. Despite contacting guest services the following day and several time afterwards only to have the same answer that it had not been found. :(

The menus at the restaurants were limited with the price of the food not matching its quality. Check-in was not a very good experience.

Very outdated and tired looking, especially in communal areas, that could be improved for a small investment. Staff also a bit disinterested in customer service

Good location on Four Mile beach and it would have been an amazing resort when it was built in the ‘80’s in terms of layout, pools, facilities etc Great gardens and pool areas, although pool needs an overhaul

I and my family were a blend of vegetarians and non vegetarians. We couldnt find a good blend of vegan/vegetarian options for lunch and dinner. So we had to go out of the hotel for food.
