The booking agent was efficient but arduous in the booking process. Compared to other properties I’ve booked the amount of information and questions they needed answered were excessive. I asked for 2 sets of keys - not possible. As you needed the key to access and leave the garage having only one set amongst 4 independent guests was problematic. The lock box (letterbox) was inconvenient particularly in bad weather. I asked for twin room to be made up as double/king - not possible The shower in both bathrooms was difficult to adjust and lacked water flow. The tap in the main bathroom dripped continuously. Main balcony was very dirty.

The property was in lovely condition and presented very well. The kitchen was generously stocked with plateware/glassware/cookware and all appliances were in new condition. Beds comfortable and bedrooms spacious. Lovely quiet location close to beach and town. Would stay there again 👍

The place was clean at surface level but needs a deeper clean. Bathrooms had some mould build up. Door skirting was very dirty, lots of dust build up Vacuums did not work properly … needed servicing

the dishwasher wasn't installed correctly and fell out of the kitchen cupboard when you opened it. The bathrooms were a little tired and water pressure wasn't great. Tap washers need replacement because the taps were dripping.

No soap provided. I contacted the booking agent who said they provide a welcome pack with some essentials but everything else is at the care of the renter. I’m fine with that, but arriving and finding no soap to be had in the apartment is disappointing and frankly, weird. Bedrooms are comfortable but the bathrooms are original and in need of a renovation. For the price charged and the “luxury” billing on the ad, the bathrooms are not luxury. The sink tap in the main bathroom leaked constantly and the washer needs to be replaced. The battery in the remote that operates the fan in the master bedroom had gone flat so it was not possible to put on the fan at night, even when the temperature was above 25c. We were not provided with a key that opened the front door to the apartment on the ground level so we were forced to enter through the basement. Also, the spare garage remotes failed to open the garage. Luckily our son was able to let us in but it could have been very inconvenient.

Convenient location close to the Centre of Nelson Bay. Kitchen is nicely renovated and well appointed. Living and dining and comfortable.

- my credit card details were stolen when booking online and used in the local area - the toilet could use a bin, an exhaust fan (at least to ensure some privacy!).

- well equipped kitchen - good size/space - secure parking (although the garage opener was temperamental) - clean and tastefully decorated - the air conditioner wasn’t working but the team ensured new heaters were available which kept a the place warm

Everything was perfect!

Absolutely loved the apartment, perfect size, very family friendly, clean and tidy, had everything we needed in the kitchen and laundry facilities, the kids loved swimming in the pool, close walk to Nelson Bay marina, shops, cafes and Duckies beach which is really kid friendly, relaxed and not too busy. The kids begged us to stay longer! Can’t wait to plan our next visit :) thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful apartment to make memories with our children

There were a few things that were not good. I had trouble working out how to use the dishwasher. When I called the support number, the support was useless. I worked it out eventually but some instructions in the apartment would be good, especially when using items that are not intuitive. The cooktop fan would not turn off, so it was going 24/7…. very annoying. We ran out of toilet paper, and there were no spare rolls, so had to go out and buy some. The biggest complaint though is being charged $420 for cleaning after receiving instructions to ensure that we do cleaning tasks including taking out the garbage.
