The bedsheets smelled like they had been washed but did not dry properly. It would be good if there was a curtain on the bed. I get that the idea is to be close to nature, but I was there in a rainy night and all the lightening was annoying at night. And then, because I didn't have a good night of sleep, I wanted to sleep in but you are awaken by the sunlight.

The cabin was very private and had good amenities. The bed was a good size, the bathtub was very clean. The cabin is located close to many walks (but far from any restaurants and cafes, keep that in mind). I think the reservation did not include breakfast but we were surprised with bread, jam, butter, vegemite and cereal.

Some of the cooking implements were getting a little worn, but it wasn’t a major issue.

The location was spectacular and the cabin was well presented and fitted out. It was close to all the walks and lookouts. Sitting out on the balcony in nature with a good book and a glass of wine was perfect.

The electric fireplace was a shame - and didn’t do took much to warm the cottage.

I would much prefer wood fire heating rather than the electric one. Clearly from all the wood sheds they were wood fired at some point. I understand woodf fired may be difficult for some people to manage so probably just easier all around, plus the cleaning.

The cabin was cosy and very quiet, not aware of any other cabins around. The deck was huge, bed comfortable and bathroom spacious and beautifully clean. Everything you needed in the cabin for cooking and lots of lovely surprises, sparking wine, little chocolates continental breakfast baskets. Nice greeting from Graham and explaining the area.

The little cottage was excellent. The bed was comfortable and the facilities had everything you needed. The spa was great and the deck was so peaceful. A little cool at night but there was an air con and plenty of blankets to keep one warm. Be prepared to be woken up a little early, with the birds and their beautiful songs.

I didn't know there would be steps to the bathroom, & between the kitchen-dining area & the lounge bedroom. These were difficult for me because of a mobility issue. It would be good if these were in the booking info. There was a DVD & cd player, but no DVDs or cds, which was a shame, especially as the TV stations were limited and the reception a bit up and down. Also, it would have been very good to know there was no cellphone coverage at the unit. A plus & a minus, but should be highlighted.

I loved being in the middle of the rainforest; the paddymelons, family of possums including dad & baby. Also loved the birds. All of that was stunning and it would be a great place to meditate and reflect. The extras, including wines, apple juice, bread, cereals & coffee bags, were great and very much appreciated.

A little dusty

Cabins had absolutely everything we needed, comfy bed, and even some port .

That we only stayed 2 nights. We should e stayed for 4!

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed how cosy and calm our stay at lyrebird retreat was. The cabin is nestled in the rainforest with little reception and no wifi and it's FANTASTIC! switch off and relax. I can't recommend lyrebird retreat highly enough!

Nothing we didn't like, however it would have been useful to know there was no reception at the cabins before we got there so we could plan ahead. Was enjoyable to have no reception though.

Lovely cabin nestled in the rainforest with a fully functioning little kitchen, good heating in the colder weather and lots of privacy from other guests.

An electric blanket on the bed would be great, as it took a long time to heat up the cottage for bed time.

Lighting was dull.....No internet which was ok but DVD player not a blue ray player....Tv getting old...

Location in forest ...ambience... facilities...perfect for couples

SO BEAUTIFUL had an amazing time with my partner so relaxing and so nice even had a very lovely possum family keep up company outside our cabin. Very happy 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be back :)
