Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeMinor quibble, aircon could have been better. A bit warm on hot evenings.
Fantastic location. Wonderful welcome from reception staff who were really friendly and helpful. Spacious well equipped room with lovely big, comfortable bed. Great cafe within for coffees, breakfast and lunches.

ArgentinaThe stay was quite good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great, although there’s maybe like two or three blocks around that seem a bit sketchy, it’s only the looks though because I didn’t feel unsafe once. it’s close to the subway that you can take straight from and to the airport (super easy to use). There’s tons of restaurants and bars around that area as well.

Nice hotel in a very good location. Plenty of choices for dining and shopping nearby. There was an underground station about 200-300 meters away. Clean rooms and fridge available.

Hong KongThe beds had memory foam mattresses and were way too soft. Even after changing the old worn mattresses in our room, the mattresses were too soft. The bathroom was extremely tiny and the sink was the smallest I’ve ever seen. The room isn’t well designed for holding clothes (no drawers and limited hanging) and other personal items (hardly any shelving).
The location of the hotel suited our requirements and was close to train station. The staff is very helpful and responsive to our needs. There are laundry facilities.

AustraliaFor the first time we didn't like our room due to the uncomfortable mattress and the pokey bathroom with the door that didn't close. Every other room we've had has been perfect
We often stay at No.9 and love it! Always welcoming, clean and quiet. The staff are fabulous!

United KingdomOur room was comparatively small with very little storage, and we tended to live from our cases.. it was a top , fourth floor room, and the lift only went to the third floor, which meant carrying cases up a fairly narrow set of stairs to reach our room.
The staff , cleanliness location, and WiFi are excellent. The air-conditioning was quiet and efficient. The hotel is within easy reach of many, bars, and restaurants. Kings Cross underground station is just down the road .and that, plus the light rail, gets you to all the sights

United StatesOur bathroom was exceptionally tiny - you had to crawl over the toilet to get to the shower. Everything else was fine but that design was not great.
Very convenient to the train and getting around, relatively quiet neighborhood with lots of restaurants and a grocery across the street, cute café in the lobby, pleasant room for a week's stay

United KingdomOne of the reasons I chose this place was on the website it was stated that they had washing machines that I could use. But on my 2nd day when I wanted to use them I was told they are not operational and were taken for repair which was quite disappointing. The room I was given was quite noisy, there was a constant background noise possibility due to being close to some aircon extract area or smt. similar. I had to use earplugs every night. The window in my room wouldn't stay open, it looked quite old and I had to put something underneath to keep it ajar for some fresh air.
The location is excellent and it's good value for money. Staff are also nice.

SingaporeWe were on the top floor but the lift didn't go to the top floor. We had to carry our suitcases up one very narrow flight of stairs.
The room and bathroom weren't too big, but as we were there for sightseeing, it was a good enough size for 2 of us for overnight stays. The room was clean and looked like the advertised picture. The breakfast on the porch in front of the hotel was great. There is also a large food and veg supermarket across the road with tasty food and beverage establishments nearby. Very close to the Kings Cross train station (1 stop into town) and lots to see in the area. There parking garage is a short walk away. Helpful and friendly staff.
