I wasn’t sure where to stay in Sydney but I was drawn to how central this hostel was! I’m so glad I stayed!! They have social events every night and have a rooftop area and also a bar. I like that you can have fun but also get a good sleep as it’s very calm at night. They had free things like free pizza Fridays and a free BBQ I saw. You also get a discount on food and drinks at the bar if you stay at the hostel. The reception staff were friendly and helped me with my bag , they also gave me some ideas of fun things to do in sydney. Roommates were friendly too and the place was really clean with big showers. Enjoyed my stay here

There were two toilets for the entire floor and three showers, meaning I was constantly waiting for the bathroom facilities. They were nothing short of odd, not pleasant to use at all and barely passable as cleanly. They are in dire need of some bathroom upgrades. There weren't any power points to use a hair dryer, only one on the wall of the common area near a freestanding sink which was outside adjacent to the bathrooms. I was actually considering driving to the nearby university I attend to use THEIR bathroom facilities to get ready for my event the next morning. The rooms were cramped with no internal lockers for personal belongings, my roommates took up the entire floorspace with their bags. It was also 36 degrees with only a window to open and keep cool as the fan didn't seem to be working properly, but once the window was open all you heard were sirens all night. Considering the building is in the heart of the city a proper shared bathroom and air conditioning wouldn't go astray - most hostels I have stayed at have met this standard.

The location was excellent and front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room is too small for 4 people. The noise from the street is too loud, you should change the windows. The showers / toilets are too old. You should renovate everything, it doesn't look like the pictures. I don't recommend this place.

The receptionist was really friendly, I had to call him when I arrived since I arrived late, but he answered and went right away. Very nice!

The staff are amazing, Beth and the team make you feel so comfortable. The facilities are great I feel like I’m at home, I’ve extended so many times already and when I leave I will always come back.

The staff is amazing and they organize a lot of fun activities for free, such as a free barbecue each saturday including beer pong on the rooftop. I loved it here🫶🏻

No elevator/lift. The Shoes, pants, and shirts just spread all around the bed and on the floor of the room. The lock of the room didn't work, everyone can go in anytime. The locker only fits in a small bag or small backpack. No fridge or foot storage outside the kitchen. The kitchen is only open for 7am-10pm. I checked out earlier like before 7am, there were some food left in the fridge. I had a call with the night manager to get my food out of the fridge. However, the night manager manager claimed that he doesn't have the kitchen key. For those who have plans to check out earlier, remember to bring out all your stuff from the kitchen one day before the closed time, including food in the fridge. Otherwise, you could only give up your food in the fridge like I did. Toilet at one corner of the building, while bathroom at another side of the building. The sinks are small and tiny.

One of the cleanest hostels I’ve stayed at on the east coast, nice atmosphere all round and lovely staff really helpful :) I was surprised to see that the hostel had ovens which a lot of hostels don’t have. The hostel also have free tea, coffee and cereal for guests which was nice. Location is very central so didn’t have to walk far to get into the city. A bus to bondi beach is only a 5 minute walk away

The location was great so close to the city. The staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was very pleasant. Lauren especially was helpful in pointing out things I might like to do in the city to fit in with my budget. She had plenty of time for me and answered all my questions.

Super chilled out hostel. Incredibly clean, props to all the staff. They host a few events throughout the week that are definitely worth taking part on. Staff are just amazing, they are all super friendly and will help with any questions you have.

This hostel is not well organized. Rarely there is someone in the reception, because staff have many other tasks. They have an old Nokia cellphone without the internet so you cannot reach them via Whatsapp or Booking chat when you need to check in or check out. Honestly it was stresful and time consuming. Beds in 8ppl dorms are horrible, like in the barracks, no curtains, you really need earplugs if really you plan to sleep
