Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Only thing we didn't like is windows and window curtains were so dusty. My husband and kid got really bad allergy from the dust.
Location, value for money, comfort, staffs every things were good.

the privacy with the housing behind our unit was a bit questionable because there was a woman staring through the fence at us the whole time we were outside.

electric kettle didn’t work, couldn’t find hosts to try and replace it. some things in the kitchen could have been cleaner, but really was a nice stay!

Some suggestions: A few more clothes hangers would be useful, as well as an additional towel hook in the bathroom and a hook in the kitchenette area for the dish cloth.
My wife and I spent two nights in unit no. 6, which consisted of a neat and clean room with an en suite bathroom and kitchenette comprising the standard basic motel facilities. The table and sofa contributed to the comfort of the room.

Wasn't able to lock Flyscreen door. Would've liked to leave glass door open as was warm night.

Electric blanket on the bottom bunk bed didn't work well. It may have been helpful to have information (e.g. text) sent to me regarding checking in? I called earlier in the day, as I knew we would be late checking in, and was informed that the unit would be open for us. Perhaps if we'd had that information in a text or email earlier, it would have been even better? The bathroom was quite cold; there was cold air coming in the back door and perhaps the window could have had a curtain/blind on it to help reduce the cold? Parking was questionable - we parked next to Unit 2 on the first night, but then a motorbike and a large car with a trailer parked there before we returned for our second night. We parked in another space then (hopefully didn't offend anyone by doing this).
Easy to find, great facilities, pleasant stay. The shower was good, the kitchen facilities excellent. Beds were comfy, plenty of space for the family, and the TV reception was good.
