Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We lost power for 2 days, wifi was intermittent during our stay, not sure if it was all Alfred. A little more dishwash, and salt and pepper would have been appreciated.
Our stay was lengthened due to Cyclone Alfred. Staff went above and beyond to look after us during a difficult time. location is great, views are awesome.

The gym could use an update. Unfortunately there was a bit of construction work going on which was a bit noisy but these things happen.

There was a lot of work being done on the apartment block and as we were there mid week, it did start pretty early in the morning so was quite noisy. My car was in the firing line of a lot of cement dust even though they did put a cover over it, it still became covered in dust.
The apartment was older so big rooms. The location excellent, just a short walk around the corner to many restaurants on Tedder Avenue and close to the beach. The view of the beach and water from the unit is fabulous. The pool was nice and clean.

One lift was broken after someone was trapped in there for several hours in high summer. It was not repaired during our stay leaving one lift and longer waits.

The cleaning wasn't the best, which was a little disappointing. Such a beautifully presented unit and the price paid, the cleaning should be up to standard. If the cleaning was spot on, this unit would be a 10/10.
Just across the road to the beach and beautiful ocean views from the unit. Staff were lovely and very helpful. The unit we stayed in was well equipped with everything we needed. A/C in every room made stepping inside a pleasure.

The pool was not quite warm enough, only set to 26, I asked if it could be lifted a little but no can do. Was cool especially when no sun and if set to 28 would have been perfect. Other guest also said it was too cold. Also the rooms could have had some additional items for cooking, but other than that it was very good value for money in a great location. Would have been good to be told in advance of the works at the premises but was during daylight hours so OK
Location is great, nice and close to Tedder Ave shops, cafes etc and the bonus of directly across from the patrolled Surf Beach is brilliant ! The facilities are great and the apartment was nice and clean with comfortable couch and good beds. Excellent value for money

Air conditioner could be better placed where it actually reaches the lounge room area and disappointed the gym was not open due to renovations.
The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. All appliances were accessible and it was a great stay.

We love it to stay there. Everything was amazing, especially the beach view. we had lots of fun there feel like a home even my kids said mum we love it n it's feel like same when we moved to our newly builded house so happy n definitely recommend 😀 😊 happy to stay there.

It wasn’t very clean. There were so many cockroaches! This really put us off the apartment. We definitely felt as though we were renting someone’s home rather than a resort apartment as there was some clutter in wardrobes and draws which I didn’t expect. There was also no pool towels provided which was annoying as there were two pools at the resort.
The location was fantastic, right across from main beach. It was a large apartment that met the needs of our family. The pools were great for the kids too. The staff were friendly.
