We were supposed to be staying on the Sunday night but the Sunday garden party got cancelled on the day. There was no vibe. We had also asked to cancel the Sunday night for a credit or refund 7 days before and were told the cancellation fee was 100% 😳

We had such a great time at the Swell Hotel! We stayed here for our honeymoon! The hotel decor was on point, the staff was exceptional, including their recommendations, and exceptional (thank you Felicia for everything!) and the amenities were wonderful! The rooms were spacious, all the furniture was so comfortable, the cocktails were delicious and they not only offer a private cold plunge/sauna combo (which is a great way to start your morning) but also free yoga every morning! They also have free parking. The location was great, walking distance to most shops, restaurants and the beach! We definitely will be back!

We really did love everything about the accomodation, except the shower is a little smallish, other than that - it’s perfect!

Loved everything about our stay at Swell. Perfect location, only a few mins away from centre. The accomodation is beautifully presented - the rooms were gorgeous, such lovely decor and the gardens were luscious. The staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the code system rather than swipe keys. The wellness facilities were great too. We really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to book again. Thank you for our amazing stay!

There was no sill on the bottom of the bedroom door so it let in noise, light, bugs etc. The hotel is also right on the main road so it can be quite noisy. There was limited / no place to store clothes etc in the bedroom so short of hanging long dresses on the coat peg, we had to keep all of our clothes in the suitcase. We also brought our own iron which we were glad we did as we couldn’t see this available. Aircon unit rattled in the ceiling. Infrared sauna door didn’t shut properly so it wasn’t as hot as it could have been.

The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for you. The decor was beautiful and to a very high standard. The gardens were immaculately kept and made for a lovely vacation - I felt I was in Mexico, rather than in Byron!

The team were exceptional - They made it feel like home. You can’t look anywhere without it being aesthetically gorgeous, and the products in the room and through the mini bar were the best we’ve found anywhere. The inclusive sauna and ice bath was my fav part, with the morning yoga in the teepee a close second. Flawless stay from start to finish. Thank you!

A stylish hotel in a great location. We loved the room and the landscaping of the grounds. The morning yoga was a nice inclusion to start the day. Also, best coffee in Byron. We'll definitely be back!

The rooms were beautifully appointed, with every detail considered. The bar opening onto the lawn and outdoor area was superb and the 2 staff we dealt with - the Manager and barman were chatty, friendly, helpful and informative, it had a fantastic vibe and the gardens were superb, we walked to the beach and dinner and it was close but far enough away it was peaceful. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The pool probably needs a sign to say it’s really shallow and “v” shaped

Loved the welcome drinks in the lounge/bar. The gardens were stunning and we loved lazing about on the outdoor rugs/pillows. The landscaping is gorgeous! Room was spacious and bed was like a cloud!
