We stayed for 6 nights, no cleaning service provided for those days. The unit we stayed also has limited cleaning materials like bin liners, mops and kitchen towels.

Great location and comfortable. We love Burleigh. We were close to shops, restaurants and bars. Lots of choice. Unfortunately, the night roadworks disrupted our sleep. They're unavoidable, but double glazing would dampen them and the road noise from the Gold Coast Hwy. Or ask for a room overlooking the pool.

Excellent location and terrific staff. The only downside, which is minor, was the shower over the bath, as it was a bit of a challenge getting in and out of the shower.

Apartment could do with a good once over from the cleaning team

Apartment was spacious and furnished well, on our balcony we had some comfy loungers. Location was great, lovely pool area plenty of sun loungers. Good variety of exercise machines in the gym. Team on reception were great.

Our room needed a new coat of paint and the master bathroom bath over shower was rusting around the plug hole. Issues with the air conditioner as well but the staff were awesome and it sorted. Other family and friends who also stayed, their rooms were amazing and looked in really good condition.

The overall facilities are awesome! So good for kids and you have everything at your fingertips - food and beach.

The shared pool for holiday makers had so much sand in it in the morning. I chose to go in when it wasn’t busy, and the amount of sand was terrible. That’s the only thing that I found not up to standard.

The apartment really needs better lighting. It feels like you are in a cave and some of the lights were not working. Some of the chattels were not in great working order, for example the iron. There were also missing essentials like no oven mitts and with only one tea towel difficult to pick anything out of the oven. Also no curtains on the windows. You only had a blind so no privacy unless you closed the blinds.

The pool was great. Size of the apartment was generous. Really great to have two bathrooms for a family of four. Also convenient to have the washing machine and dryer. Location to restaurants and bar also great. Plenty of places to eat from. The Air conditioned gym was a great bonus. It was well equipped.

The lock on our door was difficult- I let reception know on checkout. The apartment could have done with a thorough clean - it was quite dusty.

Fabulous location. About 5 minute walk to beach and shops, cafes and restaurants. Lovely spacious 2 bedroom apartment- it was great having 2 bathrooms. Beautiful pool and friendly staff.

The only thing that I could think of is it will be nice to have a later check out. The apartment was very clean but we found some hair on one towel and a bed.

location was very good, close to supermarket and restaurants. The apartment had all the basic stuff that we needed. Good laundry. The pool was very good and big enough. The parking was very handy to have. The wifi was very fast and no problems at all.

Not enough utensils in the kitchen for a small family. no door stop on shower (hits toilet). Cleanliness of the apartment (found dirty undies behind bed). There were wasps on the roof of the balcony and the glass railings were not cleaned.

Close to centre of Burleigh Heads and a short walk to the beach. Lovely big pools with spa and bbq area. Rooms were clean and tidy, and modern.

A few things we didn't like mainly because we paid peak January holiday prices. Hairdryer was tiny and also broken No clothes hangers in wardrobes Complimentary tea and coffee but no milk? The room we had was a little bit dated compared to other rooms that we have stayed in at the resort . A second tv in one of the bedrooms would have been good as the living area was quite small.

Swell resort is in such a great location. Short walk to main shopping strip's, beach and bus stops. I really choose Swell for the pool, it's large enough that you never feel cramped by other guests and also it's nice and deep. We checked in after hours and the process was very easy. My son enjoyed the gym facilities and liked that it was open until 9pm. We appreciated the European laundry and also the well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms had ceiling fans and the unit was also air conditioned. Block out curtains was also a bonus. Resort is nice and secure at night also .
