Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The door had a broken lock and was actually open on arrival - while the door did lock it felt unsafe. The parking set up is quite confusing but secure. The apartment could have been cleaner. There was so much fur around the extractor fan in the bathroom it didn’t work!

The tram line being constructed below throughout the night and early morning which made sleeping next to impossible. Did purchase earplugs for the second night which made it bearable.

It would be nice if the rooms were serviced and towels changed during a weeks stay.

You could not get from the room to the reception without going through the carpark.

Couldn’t get full blockout the way the blinds were set up.
The room I was given was huge and was positioned at the front, the development is getting a bit dated though. Great location and walking distance to beach and National Park. Great value for money

The after hours check in was very slow & the safe wasn't working so it took extra long

Bathroom lighting was woeful and very dull. Not great for makeup purposes either. The lounge furniture was dated and needed to be upgraded/refreshed

Close to the beach and Burleigh business district. Could walk everywhere. Great pool areas and well equipped little gym. Would definitely stay again.

The tv remote/s were very difficult to use and get required stations. Very frustrating & we actually gave up on it after no service success on free to air stations we were trying to get (& out of office hours so no one to ask for help). Our access scanner also didn’t work for the car park access lift; reported this and got it rectified for day 2 of our stay.

The floor in the ensuite bathroom hadn’t been cleaned well and there were long dark hairs on the tiles from previous occupants. Smells in the hallway.
Great location, lovely spacious apartment. Well stocked kitchen. Wonderful clean pool and spa. Great bbq facilities and parking included.

BBQ very dirty; dishwashing rubber coming off, had to check because otherwise floor would flood; coffee machine dirty. I really recommend a BBQ cleaning 'kit' be provided as it is hard for travellers to have the things needed to clean it after use. Outside 'party' lights weren't working (room 1122), so just had 1 really bright fluro light out there; this room needs a kitchen utensil and crockery clean out; the stove top wouldn't work if you used a copper based pan; yet there are copper based pans in the cupboard which you therefore can't use. Outside laundry floor dirty, must be difficult to keep clean though out there; worked well though.
Beds, very comfortable, clean; downstairs rooms nice and dark when blinds drawn; please put block-out blinds in upstairs room. Room configuration good, easy access to trash. Bathrooms lovely and clean. Rooms generally quiet and good cupboard space in downstairs cupboards; extra blankets good, air con great. Maybe do a 'tidy up ' of the blankets etc to make it look more presentable. TV and Foxtel great; possibly include a sun lounge on the deck?

The fact that reception was only open for 2hrs each day over the easter break. Also we were told a second car park would be available but this was not the case

The absence of room cleaning, insistence on guests cleaning up the dustbin before check-out, reception getting closed at 5pm and missing instructions at parking level are clear negatives. Overall service orientation was poor.
The location and room were ideal for us.it was quite spacious, the balcony was an absolute delight
