Paying cash for lockers on check out given checked baggage is collected so early. (If you want to snorkel etc on final day you will carry your stuff all day otherwise) Hot water can be a bit variable

Although I was close to everything, if there was some kind of mobility service for the people that stayed further away in one of the villas like my mother did. Also the availability of umbrellas or raincoats from getting off the ferry to walking to shelter would be helpful too.

The westerly wind 😭 Which we know couldn't be helped but mother nature has a lot to answer for. 4 days of strong winds and swell meant no dolphin feeding along the beach.

We loved the location, everything so conveniently situated within a short walk. It was so relaxing and even though a cruise arrived on the Friday the vibe on the island was incredible, probably our favourite day because of all the extra activities put on. Also the beds were sooo unbelievably comfortable, shower was beautiful lovely and spacious and nice HOT water! View from A17 was like a dream we cannot wait to come back! Rob the guide who did the desert tour with us was hilarious and so entertaining 😆 Also we did Quads bike twice because it was so much fun!! Food was yummo, we ordered kids meals every night as the portions were so generous.

The island felt well set up for day time guests, however the evenings weren’t as well catered for. There wasn’t a whole lot to do in bad weather.

The location was incredible. Our room was nice. The shared areas were quite basic but fine.

The resort food & meals were fine - but limited. If we had stayed longer than 3 days not sure we would have enjoyed having to pick from those menus. The (independent) Fire and Stone (Asian cuisine) restaurant was terrible - should have trusted the 2.8 google rating and NOT eaten there. Its a shame it's below average (food and service). Limits food choices even more. The weather was not good - rainy and wet. It is winter so not unexpected, but it made the stay less enjoyable. We were there for 3 days, and disappointed to find when we arrived that certain tours and activities were not available to us (because of a cruise ship arriving) - specifically whale watching bus tour and boat tour. Also some of the quad bike activities were for some unknown reason also not running?

The Tangalooma staff were great, excellent service, friendly, patient and helpful. Location, beach - beautiful, and facilities were good - as expected. Our hotel room was good, nice and clean with small balcony and beach view (had been renovated) but think it was overpriced for what it is. The dolphin experience was a hands down my highlight - a fun and educational delight!

After working 20 years in hospitality. And I’ve been to Bali Gigi island very small . Tangalooma needs more independence competition price rather just all in 1 roof . And more optional . Staff is great . Helpful. Not idea to buy food there . Pizza dough is not fresh . Need more availability to walk around the island .

Shower mat could be thicker so it’s more absorbent, more bbq’s to use around the resort and maybe some rain shielding blinds to help stairs and walkways not to get so soaked in wet weather

I didn’t like having to pay $20 deposit every time to use a basket ball. I ended up with about $100 of pending transactions from this. Until finally a staff member said I can charge it to my room.

Buffet breakfast was good but could have had a bit more for choice considering the price. Or be a bit cheaper. Would have been handy to have more information on laundry and bin locations. Clean towels ever few days would be good do you don’t have to wash and dry the ones you have.

Unfortunately there was only one place to get your coffee and on the days that the cruise ships were in were a nightmare

Easy access to the beach which enabled me to have long walks on the beach. My room was close to all the amenities which I needed. The hotel was also very organised with their itineraries.

Disappointed that the sunset bar at the top of the wheelhouse was closed all 3 days we were there.. I understand there was a function on but what about all your other guest that pay for these options too.. same as the beach bbq was also closed which was very disappointing as it was my boyfriends birthday and we wanted to go there for dinner not knowing it was closed as there was still signage around and nothing advertised to say it was going to be closed.

Amazing views from the room, everything you need is within close range and so many activities to choose from. Staff were amazing too.

I struggled with the distance from the jetty on arrival to reception. First time travelling disabled made it a very painful experience with myself and my dear friend both disabled.

Restaurants or food choices were very limited. We were really excited to go on a illuminated kayak tour in the night which they said wasnt operated anymore while some websites still have them listed. Photos of our parasailing activity went missing!! Didnt get any pics of that as onboard cam wasnt allowed.

Wild dolphin feeding is the highlight of the resort which i dont anyone will get to do normally. The overall experience was amazing. Facilities and staff were good. The resort offers a wide array of activities for all ages. Well suited for a short relaxed break. Sunset was beautiful and so did the beach! Loved it.

The lack of a nice place to eat with ambience and European style food. Not everyone wants to eat Asian food which was all that was on offer in a more 'up market' venue. Also every bar or cafe played different music but they could all be heard at the same time.

The room excellent with a lovely view. Lovely comfy bed and a fabulous shower. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful.
