AustraliaIt had all the charm, amenity and comfort of a Soviet era apartment block. Hasn’t been updated since the 70s at a guess. Advertising of property in my view was deceptive: the hotel (newly refurbished) and the motel are very different in quality. This is not made clear. The motel lacks basic amenities such as lamps near the bed (only overhead fluorescent lights that make you feel like you’re about to undergo surgery), no power points near bed, no aircon. Really the owners need to update or it knock down and start again.

Australiano aircon/heater built in, although an oil heater was provided. normally probably not an issue but given it’s quite a cold winter, i needed to also put on the small blow heater to keep the room adequately warm. I imagine also hot in summer.

Rubbish old rooms with no power points ,side cupboards or TV in bed room . The milk was off and no vacancy in restaurant when turned up at 2-30 pm . Hard floors with damaged rendered walls . It needs demolition and I would like a a refund .

AustraliaWe dined at the pub and at 7.50pm staff has started to put chairs on tables and obviously wanted to close. At 8.20pm we were advised of last drinks as the bar would close in a moment. There were still plenty of customers about so we couldn’t work out why they wanted to close so early but we felt like we had to leave. We also stayed in the heritage room above the pub and it was modern and comfortable however it has NO AIR-CONDITIONING. Luckily, we stayed on a night with plenty of rain so it was cool but I couldn’t imagine staying on a warm night. Given the amount you pay, I wouldn’t recommend.
