Rooms quite small. The balcony only had bar stools so not comfortable to sit on and relax for a period. No occasional chair in room but instead a long bench under tv which I couldn’t see much purpose for. The pool area is nice but the pool itself is very small.

It is a bit outside of town, walkable but hot in February, given we had no car.

For $500 a night I expected more attention to Detail. The pillows in the main bedroom were very hard. There wasn’t any coffee supplied , despite a coffee machine in the lounge . The front seating area needed a sweep and hose down as it was visibly dirty . The table in the front area also needed a clean .

Rooms are decorated in soothing earthy colours and thought has been put into the overall design making it more comfortable than most motels. The pool looked lovely didn’t get a chance to use it was it was raining.

Cleanliness, it didn't seem very clean. There was a decent amount of dirt in a lot of places around the room and the shower curtain was heavily stained. Also the shower was tiny, it might be ok for some smaller people but i felt like i was being hugged by the shower curtain.

I liked the location and the styling of everything as well as the super easy and convenient check in system.

I expected a lot more from the pictures, description and the price tag. It was a bit of a letdown to be honest. I don’t like to leave bad reviews and I don’t ever do it usually but I feel like it’s necessary in this case. For what you would pay for a 5 star luxury hotel room in the city with Sydney Harbour views, 24hr room service, housekeeping, valet, concierge, day spa, gym, full size indoor pool, spa and sauna plus restaurants on site and minibars in the rooms. The Berry View didn’t even have a freezer section in the mini fridge. No complimentary toiletries. They had two bathrobes hanging in the robe that were so small that I don’t even think they would fit a young teenage girl, they are child size and length. I think they are there for decoration. The bedding is not sufficient as there is no comforter or duvet just a top sheet and cotton cover with a blanket in the robe we only discovered on the second night. The owner was nice but not very knowledgeable when I asked for advice about restaurants and bottle shops in the town. She advised that we had a voucher for two to use at the Berry Hotel in our room to use but she didn’t know what the food was like or if they had a bottle shop as she’d never been there (btw the food is awful and there is a bottle shop. It’s very sad that they have let this historic building go to ruin) there’s also other bottle shops in town fyi. She also suggested having a wine and charcuterie board on the balcony in our room only to find when we arrived there were only two very uncomfortable stools and no table so we couldn’t use the balcony at all. Total waste of space. The room was quite small and the bathroom was okay but not very private when you needed to use the toilet because of the huge gap at the bottom of the folding blinds near the bath. The shower looks nice but has no water pressure and there is no hand held option.

The bed was comfortable and the pillows were good quality. Nice to have a hotel that provides supportive beds and pillows, most are just way too soft we end up with aches all over. Was a great bed to just relax in next to the one you love. The view of the cows and sounds of them grazing on the grass was also lovely and relaxing along with breathing in the refreshing clean countryside air. The owners were polite, friendly, responsive and accommodating.

May look good.. but it’s still a motel .. very loud and could hear a lot of the other guests. Also hot water took ages to come on. The manager wouldn’t give us an extra hour to check out. Pretty disappointing….

Too close to the road not a good view, I thought booking there, out of town, I would avoid the road views. I was wrong.

I don’t recall being told abt construction upon booking. Too far out of town and on main road. Did not like the constant messages asking me to confirm time and time against and the key code was difficult.
